isnt the purpose of senkos wackey rigging?
sep question: what about carolina rigging them?
my pond has SHUTOFF on bass production the last 10 months and i need to start trying new stuff bc the fish are still there. im open to new ideas

Polar Pop, that fish looks atleast 5 pounds. Id say is looks like a hybrid cat. Half flat head, half channel cat. Very rare catch. That could have been a state record.

I banned senkos on my pond because too many fish hooked deep and died. But this time of year I always have one in the boat rigged and ready in case I spot a bass cruising the shallows.

You can carolina rig, drop shot, texas rig, weighted, etc.
The options are limitless with the senko. The most popular IMO is texas rigged weightless, pull up and let it flutter down.
They also make them in a "swim senko" style with a small paddle tail.

Drop shots will catch fish that you might other wise think uncatchable.
