this would be a great thing, but it's easier said than done. The've called the cops and they tell us the same thing-evict him, then we can do something. They can't just arrest him because we say he's crazy.
I am assuming he keeps drugs and his meth pipes in the house? They can call the cops and show the drugs to them.
How does he get money for meth, I am assuming he probably has to steal from them. If he isn't yet they can leave money in a drawer and when he takes it they can call the cops and have him arrested. There are lots of ways to get someone arrested.

I was a heroin addict for well over a decade
Guy that worked for me was in recovery then eventually relapsed. He has relapsed about 5 times over 10-12 years he told me and he had me fooled that this time was really going to work. He was sober for 9 months before he fell off again and was a great employee during that time.
He told me how hard the first week being off of it is and how sick you get. It made me question how you could ever want to go through that again and again but I am no addict so it's hard for me to understand that side of it.
He fell off the last time by starting with roxy some chick he was dating gave him then got back on Heroin. He is now 9 months into a year long treatment in Texas and by all accounts doing well according to his mom. The bad thing is he is facing two federal charges when he gets back. One for theft over $500 and one for stealing a pistol from me.

My cousin use to sell it and needed someone to ride with me out in the country to this ranch where this group of meth addicts had were holed up all spooked. Well we get there and he is making the deal and I realize they have a 100 box of 1cc syringes laying on the counter and when they were al super high, they all filled the syringes with their blood and saved them thinking they had enough meth in their blood stream that if when they were coming down if they would shoot up the blood they would get high again... I was like What in the actual frick!!
Is this your cousin the facebook rapper? I love that dude!

it's always teh people around the person who leads them to go back
there is new research that is connecting addiction to social interactions, and i believe it. i think it's a combination of that + an OCD disorder

probably, but he's really good at keeping it hidden. I will definitely have them start looking for his stuff. Thanks for the advice.

I have no idea. it's what baffles me the most about this, where the hell does he get all this money. He's high every day!

also, from what i've been told by people who have detoxed multiple times, this is basically like the flu for 3-5 days.
For opiates and opiods yes it is, it sucks. I have been told by friends that were on meth that there aren't really any physical withdrawals but the mental ones are hell.

I'd much rather deal with opiate-induced behaviors than amphetamine psychosis

hallucinogenics?
no, a plant called kratom...it works. It pretty much eliminated her withdraws symptoms. Without it, she was pretty much worthless but one dose of kratom and she was "normal".

she said it was like the flu but 100 times worse. Couldn't sleep, eat, etc... Bones felt like they were hurting her, body temp out of whack, etc...Once i fed her the kratom, 20 min later she was up and functioning...it was pretty amazing

there are 2 possibilities, if he truly does not leave the house
1. he gets bitcoins for cam shows and pays his dealer in bitcoins (how that dealer gets him the drugs is another issue)
2. your parents give it to him (directly or look the other way when he steals from them) because they are more scared of him doing drugs outside of their house than inside of their house

I am a former heroin/oxycontin addict who got clean at the age of 25. It was hell getting sober but obviously the best choice I ever made.
My advice is to be supportive of their recovery, but don't get down on yourself if and when they relapse. They will not get sober until they actually want to be sober.
You cannot half arse recovery, you are either 100% in or you are going to keep relapsing.

that all depends
i'd much rather a person high on meth drive a vehicle than a person who is fricked up on pills

They need to search every inch of his room.

He HAS to be selling it to support his habit. They are probably going to find a nice stash when they toss his room. Also, they should try to install an app on his phone that records everything he does so they can know when to bust him.

Has your "landlord" recovered from his political race? I really thought he had a shot. Dude spent a lot of money on that campaign.

no, my parents do not give him money. What we think is, he hooks up the meth for others and they give him some, or he pinches their sacks.
