that would probably help, but he's never been arrested. I believe that the drug has made him so paranoid that he hardly ever leaves the house. I wish he were locked up for years, just to give my parents some relief.

I would imagine he is smoking and shooting by the age of 31

I wish your brother and your family the best. I was that guy in my family with my alcohol abuse. My family would cringe at get togethers when I reached for my first Dewars on the rocks. It's been over 19 years now since I have had a drink. The tragedy of addiction and the impact that it has on a family is simply devastating.

I would think so too, but I guess not.

I am sorry to hear that, especially since he loves with them. Honestly I think going a way for a bit is going to be the only thing that helps so maybe they should find his drugs and call the cops.

Know someone going through that shite right now with their family. Your brother has to want to change for anything to happen. Good line from fear and loathing is you can turn your back on people but never turn your back to a drug. I know he is family but on that shite he is dangerous and unpredictable.

thanks for sharing what helped you recover?

Meth sucks but I guess at the very least you need to be thankful he isn't on heroin. Lot's of bad heroin out there still killing people even though they aren't taking what wouldn't normally be lethal doses.
Either way, good luck. I have lost friends to drugs and just last year lost an employee to heroin. He stole from me, including a pistol, and is soon facing federal charges. Jail might be the best thing for him though.

best thing that works is a long term rehab. Not 90 days but 12 months.
Also he has to want it. Until he finds his bottom that won't happen. He can go through the motions but until it's what he wants not what you and his family want.
The fa the hasn't had any ramifications from
It yet, like legal, it might be hard to see the devil in it.
Best vibes no doubt your way

any to meth? I sometimes wonder how he's still alive. The drug has literally destroyed him, but he's still going. It's truly amazing how much our bodies can take.

Heroin is more dangerous when it comes to overdosing but I would much rather be around someone on heroin than someone on meth. Heroin users are usually at least kind of the same person they were before, meth users turn into evil creatures. The one good thing I guess is meth is supposed to be a lot easier to stop.

No. Cocaine though they did everything under the sun so I am sure it all took a toll and the Cocaine just made their hearts finally give out.

They all steal to support their habit and lie and hurt their families.

How long has he been addicted to meth? I am assuming its been a LONG time if he is 31 since most people don't just decide to start using meth after 20 or so.

100%. I am just saying if I had to pick one to be locked in a house with I would pick the heroin user every single time.

that's what scares the shite out of me slo. At this rate, he's going to send my parents to an early grave.

Only if they let him. If they really want him out of the house they can make it happen very quickly.
