The Smashing Pumpkins, liked them a lot when I was 10 or 11 but can't listen to them now, Billy Corgan is so whiny. Not too ashamed of them though they were pretty good for 90's radio rock.

I liked Matchbx 20 pretty well when I was 12 or so, definitley ashamed of that.

I always hated Staind, Fuel's first album was not that bad, they went to shite starting with their second album though.

I am proud to say that I never liked Limp Bizkit or Slipknot, hated both from the first time I heard them.

Time to be honest.... I actually owned, and liked Creed's first cd. I was 15 at the time.

U2. I still like a lot of their material, but while seeing them live on the elevation tour I realized that Bono is an insufferable, narcissistic douche.

Journey, for just a regrettable minute.
Never fell for BonJovi and Van Halen thankfully. But Eddie sure could play.

I kind of regret having liked Kid Rock. It was fun but it lacked any kind of substance whatsoever.

I liked the Sex Pistols until they found out where I lived and showed up at my house one night.

Staind seems like the band that everyone thinks it's cool to rag on, kind of like Nickelback.

Regardless of what everyone thinks, Aaron's voice is phenomenal and they are very good at what they do. Break the Cycle is one of my favorite records from the '90s and I own several of their albums.

While they did become obviously more mainstream-friendly as their career went on, they still are cool band to catch live when given the opportunity.

I went through a box of old CD's from high school and college(late 80's through mid 90's) a few years ago and it was a box full of regrets.

Any of the late 90s, early 2000s nu-metal bands.

haha dude. I am with you on that. Loved Fuel in high school. I thought I was cool because I liked them before they got popular with their 2001 album.

I'll add these:

Nickelback
Alien Ant Farm (still kinda like Smooth Criminal cover)
Finger Eleven
