On live now on ESPN.
I haven't seen the whole thing but he's handling himself fairly well IMO.

Well, I didn't hear it.
What'd he say?
What'd he say?

Danced around questions. Called out the girl from CNN that likes to ask him difficult questions. Made himself look like the arrogant fool he has all year.

Sounds exactly the way I'd expect

He basically started out talking about extra points
Then moved into the major issues. Got challenged on Web investigation since he has worked for NFL before (like Muller) and it's obviously a conflict of interest since Kraft helps pay Rogers salary.
Got asked about making himself available to media weekly (Sherman Remarks) and says he is "everyday". Reporters started tweeting how they have been denied access to commissioner for years. It was hilarious listening to reporters talk about how much of a liar this guy is.

Is that the one I heard snippets from on the radio? Where he basically said "You're not paying for the investigation, do you want to pay for the investigation, if not, STFU"
The radio hosts were bashing the shite out of him for his arrogance.

Yup that's the clip. He also was asked if he considered stepping down and he said very bluntly no.
He can't do his job, but owners won't do anything because he helps hide scandals and does exactly as they say. He is their puppet.
Not buying the BS that he has gotten the contracts that have made the league revenues what they are. The product sells itself. With the concussion lawsuits, declining youth participation, etc. the NFL will eventually fall. Get ready for the resurgence of baseball and the building of basketball and soccer.

Yeah, the players association head said that a 2yr old could do a better job than Goodell. The players hate the man, along with most fans, but as long as he is lining the owners pockets, they won't vote him out.

The irony is that the parents who are "protecting" their kids by keeping them away from football are moving them into soccer, which is a MAJOR concussion sport.

Very ironic. I played soccer for years (small school that didn't offer football) and don't understand the soccer concussion issue. The stats don't lie though.
People either need to accept that there is a risk in sports or prepare for all games to be ruined by over protection.

Soccer has to be doing something right on that front, though or the risks are still not as great as playing in the NFL because it doesn't seem (and please correct me if I'm wrong) that soccer players are suffering such egregious effects from playing their sport, post career.
Though it's probably more fair to say that playing football potentially leads to a whole host of issues, of which concussions are only one (albeit a major) part.

Is it? Haven't ever looked up soccer concussion data. I don't feel like I've seen many concussions in soccer. 2 in high school, maybe. 1 or 2 in 2 years of club soccer at AU.

The big problem in football is chronic traumatic encephalopathy, not necessarily the concussions themselves. CTE is caused by a history of multiple concussions as well as subconcussive hits. So while there may be a comparable number of concussions in soccer, I don't think there are nearly as many routine, subconcussive hits to the head.

Anything that causes a man to kill himself deserves urgent attention.

Was his mouth moving? Then he was lying.
