Probably my favorite movie. I still think the opening scene is one of the best ever.
Rawhide scene gets me every time
I was fortunate enough to meet The Band, back in early 90's in Baton Rouge when they were playing the Baton Rouge Blues fest. I was doing the blue show on KLSU back then and got to introduce them. Steve Cropper was awesome, sat and talked with me for awhile. Donald Duck Dunn was an arse. Matt Guitar Murphy was nice, but little shy. Blue Lou Marini was awesome and really nice. He did a promo spot for me and at the end he just paused and said "Chicken Wire?"

It's my favorite movie too. I'd say my favorite scene is the Chase. Just so ridiculous and grand a thing to film, so much destruction. ha.

All the scenes. I remember where I was and when I first ever saw that movie. I've been able to recite it line for line since I was in hs

Does anybody like the music in Blues Brothers 2000?
I like the end with the BB King band that is full of legendary performers and musicians. I also like the Blues Traveler scene.

The Ghost Rider was pretty good. And I adore Lovelight, and thought they did a good job.

Ray's Music Exchange scenes are always great.
Still love the mall part of the chase though.

Jake: Bring me four fried chickens and a Coke.
Mrs. Murphy: You want chicken wings or chicken legs?
Jake: Four fried chickens and a Coke.
Elwood: And some dry white toast please.

Cab's Minnie the Moocher scene and John Lee Hooker's Boom Boom Boom scene
Best scenes (or my favorites):
Aretha in the café. "We got two honkies out there dressed like Hasidic diamond merchants."
When they first get to Bob's Country Bunker. "Oh we got both kinds. We got Country and Western."
Jake explaining his disappearance to Carrie Fisher. "No I didn't. Honest, I ran out of gas! I had a flat tire! I didn't have enough money for cab fare! My tux didn't come back from the cleaners! An old friend came in from out of town! Someone stole my car! There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! It wasn't my fault!"

I am convinced my high school assistant band director was Blue Lou's doppelganger.
"This cars got a little pick up."
I have this soundtrack, love the music.

So many good ones already mentioned, but I have to add Ray Charles - Twist It (Shake Your Tail Feathers)! If that song doesn't make you at least tap your foot, you've got no soul!

Best musical scene from the Original movie: Ray's Music Exchange scene. Shake it Up Baby!!!
The final All Star Jam at the end of BB2000 was good. Also enjoyed the Dr John version of Season of the Witch.
BTW, was anyone able to name all of the participants of the All Star Jam in BB2000?
My kids were amazed that I got all but a couple.

They could have played for the entire movie and I would have been satisfied.
