I think it's as simple as he hates talking to the media and figured out a way to avoid it without getting fined.

Young people like it because he's "sticking it to the man".

Except it's not.

It doesn't matter what you think. I'm telling you why people feel the way they do.

He's right on a couple of different levels...this is probably the first time I've agreed with him on something.
It's like I woke up and took crazy pills this morning to see the amount of support Lynch is getting.
feel the same way!

I don't really give a frick. This is why the NFL sucks. "DeflateGate" and someone not giving the same bull shite "they're a great team and it'll take a lot for us to beat them" answers dominates the stories coming from the league.
Everyone in NFL does this sort of handling with the media besides a select few. Marshawn only does it in a less subtle and dumb way.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to talk to them either.

What are Steven A's opinions on Ray Lewis, or Michael Irvin? They don't shy away from reporters, but I'd rather Marshawn Lynch as my neighbor any day of the week.
When Aaron Hernandez was under contract with the Patriots did the NFL expect him to help promote the brand? How many interviews did he refuse to give?

Such a petty thing for Marshawn Lynch fan to get bothered by. It's quite funny to watch.
Lynch is an attention seeking whore

I thought he doesn't want any attention, he is being forced to do these?

if he doesn't want the attention, he would give the most cliche logical answers to questions and be boring. His time at the mic has now become a circus with even more attention to the how he's not going to answer shite. i hope he gets diabetes after he retires from his fricking skittles.

Wow I actually agree with him for once.

One of the worst quotes of all time. Not only is that not the definition of insanity... Einstein never said.

I figured he'd be all "MarshOHHN Lynch is a close personal friend of mine. We played red light, green light at my grandmaw's house growing up. Leave the man ALONE."
If someone told me this was an actual SAS quote, I wouldn't have thought twice about believing them.
As for the topic at hand. I think Lynch is an immature bitch, but he's entitled to do whatever he wants. I don't have the energy to care too much about it.

Pretty much. I don't hate the man entirely, but I find it refreshing and entertaining when the man gets his feathers ruffled, especially over something as unimportant as Lynch's antics. Who gives a frick?

As usual Stephen A with a rational response but most people still see him as the Stephen A from 7 years ago

I can't believe that people actually care enough about this to either support Lynch or be angry at him.
I see him acting like a child, and it doesn't bother me. However, it does bother me that many fans and some in the media are putting him on a pedestal for it. There are tasks required of me for my job that I hate doing. But I don't act like an infant while doing them. He has the right to act like he is, but he shouldn't be applauded for it.
