I think it's as simple as he hates talking to the media and figured out a way to avoid it without getting fined.

I don't really give a frick. This is why the NFL sucks. "DeflateGate" and someone not giving the same bull shite "they're a great team and it'll take a lot for us to beat them" answers dominates the stories coming from the league.
Everyone in NFL does this sort of handling with the media besides a select few. Marshawn only does it in a less subtle and dumb way.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to talk to them either.

What are Steven A's opinions on Ray Lewis, or Michael Irvin? They don't shy away from reporters, but I'd rather Marshawn Lynch as my neighbor any day of the week.

Pretty much. I don't hate the man entirely, but I find it refreshing and entertaining when the man gets his feathers ruffled, especially over something as unimportant as Lynch's antics. Who gives a frick?

I see him acting like a child, and it doesn't bother me. However, it does bother me that many fans and some in the media are putting him on a pedestal for it. There are tasks required of me for my job that I hate doing. But I don't act like an infant while doing them. He has the right to act like he is, but he shouldn't be applauded for it.
