being 17 makes me less intelligent then someone because they are 40? Another thing adults get wrong. There are quite a few that have more EXPERIENCE not INTELLIGENCE

Here's a lesson for you: should you ever get the opportunity to screw one of your teachers, keep your mouth shut about it.

Carry on.

In terms of raw analytical power? Of course not.

In terms of perspective? Yes.

IQ does not equal life experience. I've met some seriously dumb people in their 50s and 60s that have more life wisdom that I likely will ever know. I've also known some Harvard students that are complete idiots.

In 10 years, come back to this thread. Think about yourself when you're reading it vs. when you wrote it. You'll get a good laugh.

ETA: Also, let your English IV teacher know they let you into their class without understanding the difference between "then" and "than"

Look sonny, it's all about intelligence based on experience. You fail on one- probably both aspects.

Oh and... Get off my lawn.

I remember when I was 17 and thought I knew everything....

You'll look back one day and realize how much of an idiot you were.....
