Saw they were doing it next weekend. Too bad. Hotels are much higher than the following, so I chose that weekend instead.

Yeah I think they're high because of the run

King cake festival is going on also. We'll be down there but not sure if we'll make it by courtyard

Bumping this since it's tomorrow. RSVPs in the 800s.

I'll probably be getting there early, drinking myself stupid and GTFO before the riff raff gets there.

I take it that it's going to be a block party thing. Kind of nervous if 800+ people have to go into the brewery itself for beer. Maybe they will be serving outside, too. IDK.

I doubt Lafitte's has this many people in and around the bar at one time during Red Dress Run. Be careful out there.

I went there last week to try to grab a beer. There were probably about 50 people around the place (decent crowd, I guess) with one food truck, but a line out the door to get to the bar that was barely moving. Saw they didn't have any of their own beers either. Said, screw it, and went to the Avenue Pub instead.

I really want this place to do well and want to try their beer at some point. I think I'll probably wait at least another week.
