it's like you're arguing against yourself

Did you forget he was a TRUE FRESHMAN
Making HIS FIRST START
On the road.
Also, Harris outplayed Jennings in every other game they competed in.. including spring game.
It's literally 1 bad start.. JT Barret a REDSHIRT freshman had 1 bad start with 3 INTS AT HOME vs pathetic virginia tech and they lost.. but he went on to have a heisman-like season.
You say did we forget the Auburn game..
Let me ask you..
DID YOU FORGET THE NEW MEXICO ST GAME?
Here let me help refresh your pathetic memory.
2 INTS, 1 fumble?, -21.5 QB RATING lol
Or did you forget how Harris lead the Tigers to 9 consecutive TDs on 10 straight possessions on offense? and the 10th was not a TD because time was running out and we went for a hail mary to win the game. He had us in position to beat Mississippi St on a final throw to the endzone.
The offense stalled in the redzone with Jennings because there was no true threat either way, but under Harris the offense thrived converting drives into ACTUAL TDs.. something that hurt us even in the ND game..

AJ played as badly in Auburn game as well as other games. Why he was not benched?

For those who want Jennings to start, did you forget about every single game he's ever played?
Posted on 1/13/15 at 1:55 pm to mattytiger123
I agree. Let him learn like Cardale Jones did-in three starts!
Posted on 1/13/15 at 1:55 pm to FourthQuarter
so because of that one game he shouldnt start again?
Posted on 1/13/15 at 1:56 pm to FourthQuarter
He was a freshman last year. Did you forget the New Mexico game? Did you forget the inability of Jennings to throw a short pass?
Posted on 1/13/15 at 1:57 pm to FourthQuarter
The score of the game was 34-7 when Jennings replaced Harris. Jennings only played two series. LSU drove from its own 14 to Auburn's 24 on the first series before failing to convert on a 4th and 6. The second series LSU drove from its own 13 to Auburn's 11 where it failed to convert a 4th and 10.
I don't know what game you were watching, but anyone who thought Harris played better against Auburn than Jennings is clueless. The only pass Harris completed to a WR, the 52 yard pass to Dupree, was thrown late. His other two completions were to RB's for 3 yard gains.

So basically neither QB played well vs Auburn and that was a wash..
Outside of that, Harris has outplayed Jennings on the field. And he never once got another opportunity to redeem himself.. Not one time.. and we still lost 5 freaking games.. Pretty disgusting.
Jennings
Harris
keep in mind 1 of Harris INTs was a hailmary attempt

Cardale Jones' first start vs Wisconsin in the Big10 Title game:
12/17 257 yards passing, 3 TDs
Brandon Harris first start at Auburn:
3/14 58 yards passing

I've posted this before, but I talked to an offensive coach over the T.giving break (not Cam) & he said Harris was so shook in the Aubbie game that he was literally making up plays, plays not even close to LSU's plays. It got really bad in the huddle & the players lost complete confidence in him. The coach added that, as has been previously stated, Harris is lazy, spends very little time in the film room, it immature as a person, &, at that point in time, was no where near ready to complete as a QB in the SEC. Some forget that coaches do know a lot more about the players they see on film & day to day in practices.

I think Harris has way more potential that Jennings.
Plain and simple.
Harris's issues at Auburn were mental
Jennings issues are physical and a little bit mental.
Simply put even when Jennings know was throw to make (when he isn't locking onto dural) he can't make the the throw 50% of the time.

I've literally yet to see 1 person say or even hint that they want Jennings to start next year
they might say why he might start, but literally no one has said they want Jennings to start
stop making up your own arguments
