Kilmer should have been nominated for an Oscar.

Far and away Kilmer's best performance. Him not getting nominated for an Oscar is a travesty.

Even though I was not alive then and none of my family members ever lived out West and I had no role in those events, I am still interested in that time period and enjoy that movie. Very good.

As good as Kilmer is, I've always thought Powers Boothe carried the film. He was perfect.

My friends and I could basically recite the entire movie from memory in college. Watching it was a great way to fill that space between classes and drinking.

If you like seeing every western cliche in one movie, you will love Tombstone.

Greatest movie of all time. Right above Road House.

Killers films ranked:

Tombstone
Top Gun
Ghost and the Darkness

I'm still amazed at how a broken down drunk was faster than Ringo.

While it is undoubtedly awesome, that has to be the most cliche-filled movie I have ever seen. Cue the rolling tumbleweeds....

Tombstone is a great movie. It has a bigger scale than most westerns tend to have. It's a compelling story with great acting where the good guys just go scorched earth. Perfect combination.

It is a great movie that gets better with age. When I saw it as a kid it was just a cool cowboy flick but it's actually a great movie regardless of genre.

Confession...I have actually been to Tombstone with my family. Spent half the day there walking around.

Never seen the movie
