bullshite, he is the HC when things goes right he gets the credit when things don't he gets the blame pretty cut and dry. That is why he gets paid $4.5mil.

This i such horse shite. People are saying Miles is done because chavis was saving his job. He won with sabans players. after that every win is because his team has more talent than any other team. We win in spite of miles. People have been saying for 10 fricking years Miles is Lucky. He is rarely given credit.

The fumble recovery on the ALA 6 yd line at 10-10 with 1:13 in the 4th gave us the chance to win but the offense could not score. The D came up huge to keep us in the Ole Miss and Bama games.

And then the defense let Bama easily move into FG range to tie the game and gave up a 25-yard TD on the first play of overtime. Broke down at a critical time, just like the six games in the last three years where LSU lost a late lead.

How about those games where Miss. State and Auburn ran at will and posted 34 and 41 points in games that weren't nearly as close as the score indicates? How about that it took all of 2013 and half of 2014 to finally get DJ Welter out of the lineup and that the defense was a trainwreck in non-cupcake games until that happened? How about the pathetic defensive effort against Notre Dame?

The defense was clearly the better side of the ball, though given LSU's middle-school passing game, that's not saying much. But let's not act like Chavis was the brainchild of the Steel Curtain, '85 Bears or '00 Ravens. Good, but not great defensive coach. And did the program and the players a disservice, not by leaving but by the way he left.

Yes I do believe Miles is the reason we are having issues on offense plain and simple. How many offensive coordinators have we been through in his tenure. So it is all on them, nothing to do with Miles?

So Miles is then responsible for the 2013 offense and Mett's development?

No I am not saying that, what I am saying is he is getting paid like one of the top 10 coaches in the country then he needs to perform that way. It is plain and simple the buck stops with the Head man and the guy is Miles. If he can't fix things then he needs to take the responsibility. If there are area's of deficiency then fix it, if you can't find someone who can, if you can't we need to find someone else.

Absolutely he gets credit for that!!!!

Now let me show you what he gets blame for!!!

If that doesn't make you realize there are issues on the offensive side of the ball, you are either blind or stupid and possibly both.

I don't think you sincerely give Miles credit for that. I think you're just saying it now to not look like a hypocrite. We'll see how long this moderate-ness lasts.

When LSU has a QB with more than 2 years in the program, the offense performs well. When LSU has a QB with 2 or fewer years in the program, the offense performs poorly.

Its not rocket science.

lnchbox seriously you are an idiot. I said I gave Miles credit for the 2013 offense "which I do" and your response is
quote:

I don't think you sincerely give Miles credit for that.
. What more can I say, I give him credit the 2013 offense was awesome to bad the one year Miles looks like an offensive genius, and I definitely mean only ONE YEAR, we had a defense that couldn't stop the girl scouts from scoring.

I did noticed you have not responded at all to the other years that Miles was the Head Coach at LSU for LSU's offensive ineptitude. Here is the list again.

So does Miles get the blame for that kind of offensive ineptitude? If you give him credit, does he get any blame at all?

I haven't really read this thread. But in response to the OP, I gotta admit that I'm pretty much over the Chief and what he did and didn't do in conjunction with leaving for TAMU.

I'm not idiot. I think yore full of shite. I think you rip Miles comas tangly and never give him credit. I think you're saying you give him credit now to not be a hypocrite. That doesn't make me an idiot.

Yardage stats mean nothing without context. I'm more concerned with how many points we score a game and how many wins we have. That's all that matters.

And as long as you want to keep being negative about Miles's offenses, you better give him all the credit for the good defenses we've had. But you don't operate that way, which is why I say you're full of shite.
