So yesterday I went to start my car and all I heard was clicking noise, and all electronic were dead. Clear sign of a dead battery, so I brought it to auto zone and they said the battery was bad, the batter was 4 years old so I'm guessing it was time for a new one anyways. So I bought a new one and placed it in my car and I'm still getting the rapid clicking noise. As if the battery was still dead, but it's not. All my lights are working and electronics. I have cleaned the battery terminal wires to make sure that wasn't the problem. I have a 2002 honda accord automatic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Did they test the altinator?

Can you jump it and get it started?

Or it's the starter.

You might very well have a loose connection. I had this problem once. Is it a side post or top? You need to check the wires from the battery to the starter. Go with top post wires if you have side post. Make sure all connections are tight. It really sounds like you're making connection, but not enough to turn the engine over.

The battery was dead, the electronics worked after you put in the new battery but didn't before. Problem is your starter I'd think. Go get it tested, they can put a test device on it and see if it is ok.

BTW, no I am not a mechanic but had this very same problem in a car years ago. Good luck!

Get some friends to push it & pop the clutch.

The bad connection could be within the strands of the cables. Take the terminal connectors off, spread the stranded wire and clean with a wire brush.

Jump it off, take it to auto zone, and have them test it all: battery, alternator, and starter

Jump it off and then let the alternator charge the battery fully before you try to start it again. Sounds like your new battery wasn't fully charged and it has enough juice to power the electronics and lights but not enough to turn over the engine.
