The MSB is home to some of the most fickle fans in the country, and this season has proven that more than most. What were some of the biggest overreactions and/or worst predictions for the year?

Saints will win the NFC
Saints will win the NFC South
Saints defense is for real
Brady and the Patriots are in trouble
Rodgers and the Packers are in trouble
Seahawks won't make the playoffs
Dallas is awful
Dallas will wither down the stretch
Eagles will make the playoffs
Chargers will make the playoffs
LeSean McCoy is the best RB in the NFL
Jadeveon Clowney, in general
Josh McCown, in general
Kirk Cousins

What else?

Most specifically Brady is washed up. That's LOL.

A few on the MSB, and the national media called them a disappointment at 4-3 coming off of back to back losses against Dallas at home and a loss at St. Louis.

Eagles went 10-6. Chargers went 9-7.

Hard to call those big failures.

Detroit will choke down the stretch "like they always do" and miss the playoffs.

The Saints defense was legit last year, I just don't know what happened. Cooks made an impact and Ingram did too which was surprising, but dang if injuries didn't slow 'em down.

I didn't think Seattle would be as good with the new pass interference rules. Their offense has really stepped up.

Dallas really surprised me.

This was very close to a reality, sooo not that outlandish.

Yes I know the NFC South was a giant pillow fight this year.

right before the season started, some saintard asked the question: who would get home field advantage if the saints and seahawks go 16-0? priceless.

I am guilty of this.

I underestimated their lack of talent and overestimated McCown. Their RB situation sucks and that hurts Lovie's style and their defense had some serious weak links.

I really think Lovie is a solid coach though, so I think he'll have them competitive next year. I could see them being a .500 team in our shitastic division.

Fair enough, but the Chargers were way out in front for a playoff spot early, and the way the Eagles ended their season has to have been a huge disappointment.

If you predicted the Eagles and Chargers to make the playoffs at the beginning of the season, it wasn't a bad statement. However, if you made that prediction on October 13th, when both teams were 5-1, it failed miserably. 5-5 for the Eagles and 4-6 for the Chargers from there. Ouch.

What do you mean by this?

Most on here hate Clowney so were probably right about him this year

I mean the MSB are experts

even if they had not seen the guy play before this season.
