How can you be the most valuable player if you don't make the difference of making the playoffs? Cowboys win five games at most without Romo.

Most valuable player means the most valuable player in the league... not the most valuable player in relation to his own team.

So if you had tons of money riding on their next game, and I told you one of them couldn't play, who would you choose to not play? You'd choose Murray because you'd want Romo playing, obviously.

Not to mention, just as impressive as Murray's individual numbers were, so was Romo. Led the league in completion %, TD%, YPA, and passer rating and QBR if you like those as well.
