OP,
1. google The Briar's B&B, know the owners and it's on the highest bluff over looking the bridge and the fireworks. get mucho brownie points.
2. take the lady to Fat Mama's so she can have a knock you naked rita and get the fire n ice pickles. Then walk one block and take a carriage ride around town so she can see all the old houses and learn about the grandeur of ole natchez. Get off carriage and walk right into the Corner Bar where the locals have been boozing for years.
3. Go to the Castle at Dunleith for drinks in the pub and then a meal in the dining room.
4. Head to Bowie's until midnight to booze and dance.
5. Close it down at the Saloon under the hill for some real entertainment.
6. Brunch/lunch Sunday: The camp or the Carriage house.
7. If you have time for lunch one day go to the Mammy's Cupboard. Only place you can eat under a fat black woman's skirt.

In doing all of this I guaranty you will never feel in danger or even see someone begging for money like BR or Nola.

The Dock on lake St. John is having a party that night with live music. fun place the times I've been. usually a younger crowd there than at Bowie's. back in the summer it was the most popular hangout in the area.
