The fact that it is going to happen quickly doesn't mean squat. The NFL teams that are going to change coaches would still get rid of their old coach within a few days of the season being over

Bears is not going to pay JH Michigan's money:

quote:

Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles is also reported to be on Chicago’s short list of potential interviewees. San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, a former Bear, has been mentioned, but his salary demands are likely too rich for ownership’s liking.

You accepted that one sentence of speculation as fact?

It's my opinion that Harbaugh doesn't go to CHI, but that link was useless unless you're worried about Cutler in CHI.

That said, it's going to be very interesting where Harbaugh lands. I hope you'd be just as adamant to eat crow if you're proven wrong as you have been promoting Harbaugh to UM as done deal.

You understand CBS Chicago is Bears' local media, right?

Well in that case 90% of this board that replies simply with " " "or no chance it's happening" in regard to Harbaugh/UM better eat crow if it does indeed happen

Btw, I will 100% eat crow if Harbaugh does indeed go to UM. I do not think it will happen.

But then again, in 2006 I emphatically stated Saban would not be the head coach at Alabama. But then again, so did he.

The CHI local news speculation does nothing for me. I don't think he would even consider the Bears really.

I think it's the Raiders personally.

no. you do not fire JH. he has 1 year left 5m. need to pay him if fire him

nbc is reporting 49er will release him in 24-48 hrs after the last game.

Looks like agreement by both or three sides

Meanwhile, on the Fort ($)(Rivals.com), a long-time poster who is being backed by all the Rivals posters as always being dead-on when he posts inside information, is saying he's very close to the situation and that it's a 100% done deal.

Pretty much everybody on this board who isn't a Michigan fan says U-M is getting played and Harbaugh will be in Oakland. Crow is going to be served to one way or another.

Yeah and according to longhorn site last year, Saban to Texas was a done deal. It could be true but don't be surprised if he stays in NFL.

I will feel bad for Jim if he goes. Michigan is a dead end job now due to Michigan St and Ohio St. They'll be searching again in 3 years.
