Yeah I thought he was boring. Murchison and Mengis were cool. Maraist was unintelligible at times

He explained material very concisely and clearly. Very relaxed and amiable. That's all I could ask for.

Never took Murchison. Same for Mengis. I took Maraist. He was okay. I just didn't care for classes where you didn't need to attend class but just go memorize 3.8 papers from the years before.

Except when he was teaching repealed code sections, that was always a trip.

What I'm learning here is that some folks will go out of their way to be offended.

Finally got to use one of his sayings in a case.
"Drop dead...I ain't paying you nothing!"
For some reason the case didn't settle. Weird.

Johnson and Morris were by far my favorite professors.
Johnsons fed courts was a fantastic class.

Morris was a favorite of mine, too.

Do you think the average black person is as intelligent as the average white person? If so what do you base that on since every study and testing result ever says otherwise.

It's amazing how the class size goes from 90 to 15 in one day at the beginning of the semester.
Posted on 12/21/14 at 8:42 pm to SabiDojo
Reminds me.. the LA Bar Admissions Committee recently decided to drop UCC9 from the Code III exam. Prior to this announcement, all 90 seats in a UCC9 class were filled, and there was a multi-person waitlist. Now, only 15 people are still in there .. I'm sure most of them just hadn't gotten around to dropping the class yet either.

. I liked Bockrath. He did not care about class attendance, which was a plus for me. I missed a month at one point
I remember I missed a civ pro class 1st semester in the midst of heavy min contacts shite.
I went to him and said, "I know I missed and need to get the notes from a fellow 1l, but what should I look for? How will I now if they have a clue what they're writing about?"
He saw through it, but respected the approach and basically gave me min contacts on a platter.
litvinoff deserves his own thread.
