LSU, woof. As bad as you can imagine. The nation's highest paid staff and well below the trend line. Yes, they are 10 points above the national average, but they are paying an absurd amount of money for that type of production. If you wanted to guess who paid the most per S&P+ point this season, you're damn right it was LSU. $27,793 per point. That's more than double Ohio State, who fielded the nation's number one offense according to S&P+.

But Hey at least we played Alabama "to second" this year.

Championships don't matter as long as you are in the hunt.

Because coaching contracts only exist in one-year intervals...

These are the facts. It is gross under achievement. But, please don't mention anything like that on this board because championships do not matter. Eating grass does.

Does LSU play Defense and Special Teams too?

How have we done with this "offense only" ranking system in the past?

I love miserable fans, BTW.

go back and look up the numbers for last season. when you lose about 30 underclassmen to the draft over the last 4 yrs it is hard to maintain that level of play. This study has no relevance.

bear in mind that LSU FB takes no money from the academic institution and give money to it. only two schools in the country do that, LSU and Neb.

We do not have to he highest paid staff. This is such bullshite.

This is the highest paid staffs in order. This is including everyone on the staff. Bonuses and salaries paid by University. Not just some base salary from the OC and DC.

tOSU- $28.5 mil
Texas- $24.4
OU- $21.3
Bama- $20.9
Penn State- $20
Kentucky- $19.3
Michigan- $19.1
LSU- $18.7
UF-$18.4
UL- $18.3

Here we go again...enough already. It's not Les' fault the best coach and program in recent college football history is in his division. As long as this dynamic is in place, accept it and move on. No one in the SEC West is going to de-throne Bama as the dominant program until Saban retires...

So this "ranking system" is based off one year of offense?
