Please tell me the ref didn't fall for that. I have no idea how players handle those situations as well as Wondo did. I would lose my mind.

Wondo is pretty level headed. I usually do an ok job of keeping it cool and appealing to the ref, but I definitely would have had some choice words for that guy.

The Fred flop still kills me. Brazil got their due diligence though.

I'm proud of MLS in that arguably the only just result of the featured flops was that one, since Gonzalez got fined retroactively.

Surely there has to be a Neymar dive somewhere in 2014. I call BS on this "snub".

I had a hard time deciding between the one with Wondo and the one with Robben. They were both terrible for different reasons.

Robben - It was the final minutes of a WC match in which his team needed to win, so the flop has such a great impact. I can still understand doing everything possible to try to win (i.e. Suarez slapping the ball in 2010).

The other one - It didn't have a great impact, but those flops infuriate me the most. The guy isn't trying to get a penalty kick or a close free kick, he is trying to get Wondo sent off, which is despicable. I still hope Joel Campbell never makes it at Arsenal for that BS flop that gave Besler a yellow in qualifying.

Not only that, but he puts a shoulder into him to begin with.

And yeah that card on Besler was such bullshite. One of the worst calls I've ever seen, but CONCACAF gonna CONCACAF.

They don't call it getting CONCACAFed for nothing.

I just looked that up. Is all that results from this a penalty? Is a red card issued in this case? I guess that's not a whole lot different than a DB tackling a WR that has him beat for a late go ahead TD, but wow.

All Asamoah Gyan had to do was make the PK, but he sky-ed that shot. Suarez just gave Uruguay one sliver of hope while sacrificing his eligibility for the next round by getting a red card for DOGSO by handling. I have no qualms about what he did.

Me too.

I am leaning Robben just because of how huge it was and how big of a player he is. I mean, he's supposed to be the cream of the crop...a world class player.

The other was just an early season MLS match. It was pretty shitty but it was a decent player in a decent league in a meaningless match.

If you remove context, the Gonzalez wins over Suarez in a tight one.

The CRon one cracks me up more and more the more I look at the poster

Totally despicable by Fred. This was the first WC game and his actions damn near created a narrative for the entire event. Is flopping going to be the storyline? You can just lose viewership had that taken hold for the remainder of the tournament. FIFA had no choice, but to sideline that referee for the remainder of the tourney. He is actually a very good referee that just happened to royally screw up in that sequence. His flop is my vote.

At least Robben actually had his foot stepped on. He did exacerbate it though
