His older brother Anthony taught at CHS. He's an amazing guy. It's sad to see that Elijah turned out that way. Anthony couldn't be a nicer, more respectable guy.

Not at all. Honestly was one of the nicest and friendliest guys I've ever met. His mom was a refugee from Africa I believe and volunteered at our retreat .
This is what I don't get. He's literally a refugee from Liberian civil war. America is the reason he's even alive today.

That's what I mean. This dude ain't black. Sounds like he doesn't have a clue what it's like living in a tough neighborhood where he actually may face some racism.
Racism is real and we have all faced it at some point. All depends on how you react.

Jesus is not Mike Brown because Jesus does not steal smokes and beat up shop clerks and cops.
The fb poster is an idiot.

Don't commit strong armed robbery and you don't have to worry about getting smoked.

I don't know much about Elijah, but his brother never seemed to have this obsession with being black.

I would like for this gentleman to explain how he KNOWS that Race was involved in the Wilson/Brown incident.
If there was any involvement of the race issue, it seems likely that it was Brown's own sense of being a victim, and hence being owed something, and hence his own poor choices in how he responded to law enforcment directions/commands, that was the cause of the escalation that led to his death.
If I am wrong, at least know that the wrongness is rooted in a difference of opinion about how someone should respond in a civil way to law enforcement directions/commands, and not in some racially motivated mistrust of all brown skinned Americans.
Simply put, this gentleman is just plain wrong in his assumptions, about me and others like me who disagree with him, and probably about the Brown/Wilson incident as well.

Don't try to disarm cops and you get to remain alive.

Because it's entertaining? I find it interesting that there are people as well-educated as him who still maintain ignorant views of society.
A girl in my professional school class posts stupid shite like this all the time.
The other day she said it's impossible for black people to be racist because they don't benefit from it. Therefore they can only be prejudice

Mike Brown was a thug POS that did what he usually did but made the fatal mistake one night of doing it to a cop with a gun.
