Let me get this right......Jesus robbed a store then went running to Herod/P.Pilate with his hands up and said those historical words: "Don't crucify, don't crucify"?

Are most of the African Americans from Catholic High actually catholic? Or baptist? Off the wall question, I know, just curiosity on my part.

I know many people are probably over statuses, articles and photos about ferguson. I have my own doubts about fb as a platform for activism. But I don't think it would be right to just get back to a world of rainbows and butterflies and not acknowledge that black life really is under attack in this country. This picture I'm posting are of ppl who don't care if Darren Wilson was right or wrong they are simply just racist. And it's disheartening to see the worst in ppl like that. But it also reminds me to remind you that racism is not over and we cannot rest until it is. And if we are gonna rest we should take MLK statue down from the mall and nix his bday as holiday, bc we can no longer honor him and the movement with words without deeds. #justiceformikebrown

I'm not Mike Brown.

If I'm stopped or questioned by the cops, I'm very respectful, which, surprisingly, doesn't get me shot.

Wow, Jesus smokes dope, steals crap from stores, walks out in the middle of the road, punches out cops, try to steal a cops weapon to use on him?

98% are baptist. I always thought this guy was Catholic, but I guess not.

Did you just make up that stat? It's patently false. I won't hazard a guess on the actual percentage, but more are from Catholic elementary schools than you seem to think.

Being from a Catholic elementary school does not mean they're Catholic.

One of my best friends from HS was a black guy. He chose to hang with all of the popular white guys through all of our HS years. He was the whitest acting black guy I ever knew. He went to Morehouse and 4 years later, he had a hatred of white people that was hard to believe. He became a lawyer for the NAACP and died just before he turned 28 of a gunshot wound in a dispute....from a black man. It was always difficult for me to see how he changed and I wondered often about how he was indoctrinated into becoming a vehement racist when he seemed to be the farthest from that of any black guy I knew before he attended college. He was just a great, regular guy.....until he wasn't.

But 98%? Come on dude.

Give me a second and I'll check with an authoritative source. BRB.

ETA: Straight from THE authoritative source, the Head of Campus Ministry at CHS - about half of the black students at CHS are Catholic.

They're so goddamn retarded and desperate for a martyr that they jumped the gun and latched on to a thug like Brown. Had they just waited a little, they could've latched onto the poor bastard in NYC and would've gotten way more sympathy from normal folk.

His older brother Anthony taught me at CHS. He's an amazing guy. It's sad to see that Elijah turned out that way. Anthony couldn't be a nicer, more respectable guy.

He taught me too. Great guy. I don't know Elijah but I heard he was a great guy too
