Is Andrew luck's ceiling higher/lower than Rodgers

A lot of people including myself feel that Rodgers is the greatest/most complete qb ever.
Andrew luck is obviously the future of the nfl.
Im wondering if the msb thinks that Luck have the potential to be better than Rodgers?

I don't know but he is damn good

I can't imagine someone playing the QB position better than Rodgers.

ron jaworski said colin kaepernick will be the greatest qb of all time

Lower, unless he can considerably reduce his turnovers. Hell, even guys like Manning & Brady don't come close to Rodgers in that regard.

Might be time to revisit Kaepernick vs Wilson.

I usually don't think like this so I don't know why I am here but luck needs to have post season winning success before anyone starts comparing him to any of the great QBs. The playoffs are compeltelt different than regular season and we need to see how he does in continiously sustained pressure. Also, his td-int ratio is 2-1: he needs to improve that too if he wants to be elite to me. But then, no one gives a flying shite what I think so there's that.

I think Luck will have a career more similar to Peyton. He'll likely best rodgers on yards and pass tds, etc. But his efficiency stats will never reach Rodgers level. IMO

After luck's sophomore season I felt he was the best pro qb prospect I'd ever seen in college.
As good as he was, and as good as he is now, I agree that he nor anyone else will be a better qb than Aaron Rodgers

If Andrew Luck continues to play like he has been the past few years, he will have a great career like Rodgers and Brees.

the Colts throw it a ton so he'll probably be on his way to a bunch of records.
but Rodgers is deadly accurate.
Luck was a highly touted prospect of out of college and the last guy(s) I can think of who was drafted that high and thought of that way were Peyton Manning or John Elway.
both Manning and Elway jumped right in like Luck did.
Rodgers waited for a few years behind a legend kind of like Steve Young.
I guess with the rules so soft now... sure... why not?

The difference between Luck and Rodgers right now is that Rodgers doesn't throw into coverage as much as Luck. Both are good runners, both have awesome arm strength and accuracy but Rodgers takes the check downs and throws the ball away when he needs to. Luck is still in that phase that a lot of young QBs are in where he waits for the big play and makes throws into tight coverage and takes sacks.
That being said, I think Luck's ceiling is higher. Between the two, Luck makes more "holy shite how did he get that ball in there" throws. If he tones down the mistakes, Luck can be the best ever. He makes throws that I've literally never seen another QB make at times. The dart that he threw across his body 40 yards to the other side of the field against Pittsburgh might have been the best throw I've ever seen.

A few things Rodgers is lethal but he's a true vet. Luck hasn't even finished his third season yet.
And for those saying Luck throws a ton blah blah well Rodgers went through a similar stage when GB had no run game before Lacy came aboard
I do agree Luck takes more chances which is why his TOs are much higher, but he doesn't get a ton of help either. I'd say close to half of his picks have come off tipped passes. His WRs/TEs also drop a ton of passes. Nelson and Cobb are elite at what they do
Hilton/Moncrief should be a lethal duo going forward though

No. Rodgers is better in every way, ESPECIALLY looks.
And Rodgers doesn't sound like he has 12 marbles in his mouth.

Rodgers also sat on the bench a few years before he got a chance.
meanwhile Luck has already passed it a ton in his first few seasons.
