Not digging any of the casting. Plot is just another spin on shite they've already covered how many times now? "We can stop Judgment Day." Yeah, sure you can.

Everyone has always wanted to see a badass John Connor lead the revolution and "smash those metal motherfrickers into junk." They screwed it up with Salvation, but I'd rather them take another crack at that story then going back in time again.

The only scene I thought was kind of cool was old Arnold confronting the young Arnold. Not hyped for this at all.

It's a reboot set in an alternate timeline so I'll give it a pass

Is there a reason they used a retard's spelling of "genesis" though? I can't get passed that little detail.

Emilia Clarke looks like another actress that should stick to TV. Granted it was only a trailer, but that was some really bad delivery of her lines.

This will be reminiscent of GI Joe. I think they just said frick it and made a parody of the whole thing.

i have to admit all the press sounded pretty awful about this movie. and while the trailer is extremely confusing, it LOOKS pretty awesome and entertaining. it could turn out to be pretty decent. hell it doesnt have to do a whole lot to beat t3 and 4.

So a T800 was sent before 1984 to raise Sarah Connor as a badass?

I remember when this was being developed that Arnold would be playing a human. If you have to put him into every Terminator movie that's made, that's kind of what you need to do at this point.

Why would a T800's skin age?

Based on him diving into the helicopter near the end of the trailer, I'm going to assume that he's not human.

Thanks for reminding that I won't be winning an award for attention to detail anytime soon.

If I skinned a younger lion and wore the skin everyday, I wouldn't look like Mufasa in 20 years.

That's because you would have killed the tissue. We are to assume that the tissue is living while on the exoskeleton of the Terminator.

ETA: You're better than this Murray.

It would not longer be living tissue.... But now we're splitting hairs.

Splitting hairs is ok. I get what you guys are saying now.

Obviously my Terminator fandom doesn't go very deep.

For 1 & 2 mine does. I even accepted 3 and thought 4 wasn't bad.

I've watched this trailer several times. My thinking was that maybe it just didn't look that good on the first viewing cause I didn't catch enough detail to appreciate it. The more I watch it, the worse it gets. The Terminator franchise is dead to me.

Edited for my derp grammar
