It's time for Les Miles to end this Michigan crap once and for all...

Miles needs to stop this BS that every damn time Michigan fires a coach (which averages about 3-4 years)it becomes LSU's problem when they toss his name around in the middle of recruiting season.
I want Miles to stay but I am getting fed up with all the crap about whether he stays or leaves. All this speculation while we have the LSU staff out on the road busting their arse recruiting players. I am certain all this Michigan talk makes the recruiting job all the tougher and that our coaches must answer all sorts of questions about Les Miles.
Personally, I don't give 2 shits about Michigan or the entire Big Ten but if that's what Miles wants then go do it and move on. If Miles is not going then he should say so and show some loyalty to LSU and his staff who are out there recruiting while the speculation drags on. Dealing with this Michigan crap 3 times in 10 years is just enough.

What do you expect him to do exactly?
Posted on 12/4/14 at 12:25 pm to SG_Geaux
Say he is staying and that he is not a candidate. Take control of the situation.
EXACTLY.
EXACTLY.

Couldn't agree more. At this point in his career he either is either going to make the move or shut the speculation up forever

If he hasn't been officially offered, he'd be a world class dick to put out a statement turning it down

So declining to take the job the last two times and last week saying he was not interested in any other jobs can definitely make me see how his keeps the door open.
Miles has lost control of the coaching rumor mill.

Say he isn't interested in the job and is commited to LSU?
Posted on 12/4/14 at 12:26 pm to STRIPES
I don't think Michigan has even contacted/offered him
Turning down something at that point just makes him look like an idiot

Exactly...
Scenario A: Michigan does not contact Miles, and Miles does not contact Michigan....There is nothing for either side to come out and publicly say about each other.
Scenario B: Michigan is interested in Miles, and Miles is possibly interested in Michigan...Both sides discuss the terms and then an announcement is made.
Les Miles doesn't owe any explanation to you, or any media or other fans. I'm sure the people that need to know what's going on (coaches, players, recruits) already know.

He will never come out and completely deny it. Did I understand correctly that he told Jacques Doucet last night on WAFB that he wouldn't make a comment . That is how he will do it till he assures himself that Alleva will give him another raise. Yeah Boy, as so many on here has mentioned, he really loves LSU and never thinks of himself.

He has said as recently as last week he's not interested in coaching anywhere but LSU.
What do you want him to say, "I will not be the next coach at Alabama.....er......Michigan"??

you should come to the dark side and wish him well at his alma mater

Who's to say that he hasn't told his coaching staff and potential recruits EXACTLY that? Why does he NEED to tell you anything? Are you going to de-commit from LSU as a fan if the speculation continues?

Well, there is speculation by ESPN and crap all over the internet about Miles is going to take the job. Skip Bayless said it on Mike and Mike this AM.
If people are going to throw his name around and speculate that he is taking the job the HELL YES it is in LSU's and Miles best interest to say that he not a candidate for the michigan job and that he will be at LSU.
After all it is HIS name they are throwing around and impacts LSU's recruiting. One time maybe, twice is too damn many times but three times is just stupid. This is the 3rd friggin' time Michigan has done this.

How do you know what Miles's interests are, though?

Hopefully Les comes out and says he's taking the job

Apparently many of you are just naive. This speculation would stop if Miles instructs his damn Agent to stop these rumors. This is all run by agents nowdays. Who do you think leaks shite to these ESPN dolts such as Skip Bayless? Who?
It's the Agents and they are only controlled by their clients.
Believe that or don't but it's true.
