Looking to replace my laptop...I've looked at the surface among other "traditional" laptops....are there any major limitations to it? Is there a model I should buy for light home use and word processing? How is the wifi?

I have the original SP and it is still working great. I have no ragrets. I even put skyrim on it just to see how it would run and it actually ran with the quality set to the lowest. But I don't use it for that. It runs VSE 2012 flawlessly. My laptop has been retired since this thing released...The SP3 must be tits.

Just purchased the i5 128 for a Christmas gift - I'll let you know what she thinks after the 25th.

3 Pro. Don't go for the basic, the Pro is far more useful because it can run google chrome and chromecast.

I have the i5 256 gb version with black keyboard case. I wanted the red but it was exclusive somewhere, can't remember, so eff it.

I miss my macbook because I knew how to work it but this thing is a beast. I've said it many times and here it is again; the trackpad sucks but it is a touchscreen so there's that.

My company is testing these for a laptop/ipad replacement for us.

I hear that the ones we are testing are crashing a lot but Microsoft it working on the fixes with us.

I hope they are ready to roll them out to everyone when the Surface 4 comes out.
