How many of those do the LSU band play?

None, and I counted twice just to be sure.

I thought 99 Red Balloons was pretty good.

Howie Day's cover of Africa is better than Toto's original version.

I have their record with Africa on it. It's actually really good. Lot of talented musicians in that group, which I believe was a supergroup formed from other bands, but I may be wrong.

Plus 99, I'll Be Over You (with Michael McDonald) and I Won't Hold You Back, so 6.
Not bad. Most groups don't get 1.
They do seem to have lots of albums, live albums and compilation albums behind those, perhaps 6 good songs.
Bobby Kimball - Vinton, Louisiana, representin', y'all!

Did I make it in before some hipster comes on and posts that Steve Lukather is one of the five greatest guitarists to ever live?

I like Steve and he was/is a very sought after session guitarist - but he is unlikely to have been in the best 25 rock guitarists named "Steve".

First off I'm old and grew up listening to them but I would recommend Falling in between - Live from Paris 2007 and see what you think. The whole concert is in HD on Youtube. Worth a listen!

99 is a really solid song. Very lush with great harmonies and one of my guilty pleasures. Just ignore the lyrics.

I enjoy "I'll Be Over You" and "Pamela"

Went to 12 years of school with him. I left Vinton in '66. Saw him many years ago when I went home for a funeral. Wasn't the same Bobby I grew up with.

He played with the Ringo Starr All Starr Band and I thought he was the best instrumentalist on the stage..He rocked...
