Any tips or techniques to shaving your head? I've been buzz cutting it without a guard for a couple of years now. Just thought I'd shave it with the razor and see what's up.

I went and bought the Headblade today. I noticed they had a shaving gel too. Is that advisable or just plain shaving cream fine? How often do you have to shave your head?

It must suck to be bald. Shaving your head sounds like torture.

I shave everytime I shave my face. I shave right out of the shower and use a Mach 3 power.

It's actually easier than shaving my face.

the reason I haven't shaved my head is that you have to shave it every day, if you don't want stubble...more daily maintenence is just not something that I need...

So far for me the more blades a razor has the better, I currently use a five blade anything less and I cut my head up

Shave it. It'll change your life. I shave mine every other day. Safety razor and wet shave face with a good blade and shaving soap. But for the head, though, Mach 3 or similar blade with barbasol in the shower. Haven't found any better way to do it.

I do it in the shower. Any shaving cream works for me. Use Gillette fusion

This thread gives me anxiety. If I ever get bald to the point I need to shave my head, which I am sure I will, I will hate having to see everyone I know for the first time with a shaved head....its like admitting you are old. I can't even really think about it without getting nauseous Getting old and being unmarried sucks balls!

I use all of their stuff - shampoo, exfol, and shaving cream and it all works well together.

Go slowly, no pressure on the blade, mind your ears and whatnot and you'll be fine. I shave my head 2 to 3 times per week.

OK, It will normaly be best for most people if the area to be shaved has been in contact with warm water before shaving. I shave my head while in the shower by feel, some will prefer to stand in front of a mirror but whatever suits you is fine. Whatever you usually use to shave your face will work fine on your head. I choose to use a safety razor but would not suggest you start out that way. There are no special creams lotions or potions required. If you shave in the shower just use soap, if not any shave gel or creme will work. If you believe in 5 blades go for it but know only the first is actually doing anything.

Use Nair.

Hair will not grow back as fast.

Keep your eyes closed tight because it might run down your forehead.
