You can rewatch one film as if you've never seen it before, which is it?

I would say LOTR: The Fellowship. I wish I could go back in time and watch it again for the first time.

Gone Girl. I've never had that much fun during a movie. I went in with no expectations. I don't think I had even paid attention during a trailer. I absolutely loved the ride.

I'm not a Star Wars nerd...

But it's the only movie I can think of that would give me that childlike awe again...

So Star Wars - original

(of course, it would have to be w/o knowledge or experience with today's movies)

I guess this question doesn't really make any sense unless you can go back in time...b/c otherwise every answer will be...what you saw recently...because the older films will feel dated regardless and there will be no awe.

But in it's day...there was no greater awe than Star Wars...blew Dark Knight and all this other comic book stuff out of the water. There's no real surprise anymore with movies.

Star Wars was a shock to the system.

I'd choose one that it isn't going to be enjoyable to watch again... something like Boyhood perhaps.

It would have to be something with a twist (e.g. the Machinist, the Usual Suspects, Fight Club) or something that was fantastic, but I'd never really want to see again (e.g. Boyhood, Requiem for a Dream, etc.). Probably the Sting or something for me.

Seven

Maybe Jurassic Park because the first time I saw the dinosaurs I was blown away.
