I am very much for net neutrality. But I am completely against the FCC or any government agency regulating the internet. The over site of a net neutrality law needs to be handled by watch dog organizations/ Auditing Firms/ etc.

I need some background info on this Net Neutrality definition.
My definition of Net Neutrality is the government does not regulate it via the FCC. The FCC is becoming more and more irrelevant because of the internet.
From what I understand- Obama's version of net neutrality- is equal broad band space for everyone. To me this is just another way for big government to get into the pockets of big internet companies.
This whole internet thing is way above my technical knowledge. Come someone explain this to me in a non-technical manner?

He doesnt understand Net neutrality is keeping the net the way it is now...where everyone is equal...
Hes a republican and a lying count and wants dumbass people to think they are for a free market when actually they are wanting big business to benefit from misinformation spread by Cruz and co. and gain the ability to throttle competition.

Ted Cruz spouting ignorant shite like this is political gamesmanship and political marketing.
Net Neutrality is something that has bipartisan support all across the country with republicans more likely than democrats to support it and Ted Cruz knew that and went full demagogue to rile up the base comparing it to ObamaCare to get the base back in the corner of big business and crony capitalism loving republicans.
