MON coaching circles around Jurgy.

Too busy trying college players out

Morris looks pretty decent. Not mad he's here. Just don't understand why guys like Wondo and Beckerman are. I like Beckerman but he's not going to gain anything for being here. If you want to experiment, let's do it.

I can't tell whose backline is worse tonight, USA's or Scotland's.

I like that TT is getting ballsy by calling the team out.

If we don't win the Gold Cup 2015, it's time for a coaching change.

I don't necessarily think we need a coaching change, I just think he needs a bit of a humility check.

I'm ok with a mixture, maybe Wondo should have stayed home. I don't think that our younger players are good enough to be thrown into situations like these on their own. Will say that I'd like to see Klinsmann make his changes earlier. Give these younger players 30-40 minutes instead of 10.

Daryl Murphy played 77 minutes and Eire still scored four goals. That is the best argument for Jurgy being sacked.

Calling for Jurgen's firing is ridiculous at this point, but these last few matches should be wake-up call for him about style of play and team selection going forward. They're both not awful, but they're not good.
Some of these guys don't deserve another call.

Bradley lost his job for losing the Gold Cup after getting to the group stage in the WC, didn't he?
JK is mostly a motivator, man manager type right? Right now it doesn't seem like we even have the personnel to motivate. We're going to have to do some of that tactics stuff y'all keep talking about and develop an identity that works. So far I think it's safe to say that nobody is seeing that. I do believe we saw some of it last year or whenever on the long winning streak, but between then and now we have regressed. The thrill is gone. Burn it all down.

Tab Ramos was busy in Spain with the U-20s. I'm pretty sure he's the tactician anyway.
Beckerman was there for his experience and to guide the work ethic of the younger players. He's a shining example of working hard and tirelessly to get to where you are. I'm ok with him being called in, even if he played shitty.
We aren't firing Klinsmann. That comment was from TNdouche so I should probably ignore it. These games are experimental, but like others said I wish he would give some guys more time than say 20 minutes to prove their case.

Mexico lost. Silver lining?

Well if we changed coaches who in the Hell are we going to bring in that's better?

What a shite show - though I'll temper that by saying it's a friendly, and one with a mismatched lineup at that. We saw more of THE EXACT SAME Brad Davis vs. Turkey shite, where the supposed LM is playing in the center, leaving Chandler to cover about 80 yards of the entire left channel - something he's already proven once (against Turkey) that he can't handle.
Chandler going to Brazil (and then not playing) in the place of Michael Parkhurst is laughable. Other than being German, what does he offer on the field?
Looking on the bright side, it looks like Bobby Wood should be able to slot right in for Wondo, without skipping a beat. If we're looking for a guy to miss open chances in front of goal - we've got our guy!
I'd like to think we would have shown better against Ireland's B/C.... but here we are.

Just signed an 8 year contract with ESPN. What are they going to do - fire him?

Yup.
The way JK and Sunil talk though, I think we could lose in the GC, then the Confed Cup playoff and Jurgen would still be here for Russia.

I just got the chance to watch it, and it was painful. Obviously, my opinion is that Jurgen shouldn't be replaced because, frankly, he doesn't deserve to be. On the flip side, he's got to take a step back and be humbled a bit. These are matches where we're trying different things, and that's cool. shite needs to be turned around by the Gold Cup, and that's just a fact. Last time everyone was on Jurgen's dick, he went on an insane run. I have faith he'll turn it around.
This is looking at it with a bit of tunnel vision. People wanted Bradley out before the Gold Cup, and the embarrassment at the hands of Mexico is what sealed the deal. I liked Bradley a lot, and I'm a Baby Bradley fanboy. He lacked a vision, though. He was keeping the ship upright, but there were no signs of moving forward with him. Not to mention, comparing the 2010 World Cup performance to this past one isn't fair. The group we barely made it out of in 2010 was a joke compared to the group we were in this year. If Landon Donovan doesn't create one of the pivotal moments in US Soccer history, we don't make it out. If you go back to the period between the World Cup and Gold Cup for Bradley, you'll see tons of people who wanted him out. You'll also see tons of people hoping for Jurgen. Hell, I'll admit that I wanted him out for Jurgen, and I am on the record as saying that the day of the Gold Cup loss to Mexico.
The fact is that the two situations are not the same, and talking about replacing him now is a result of people still angry over some of his decisions. There is a group that will never like Jurgen and would welcome a manager that loses match after match if it meant getting rid of him. A lot of the stuff he's said lately has gotten reactions like "Well, he's not wrong, but this just isn't the right time or best way to say it." People are literally saying "I agree with him, but I don't like that he said it", which is absurd to me. Like it or not, Jurgen got us out of a group that no one outside of ourselves thought we'd make it out of. We are one Wondo shank from going further. We are one Clint lapse in judgement from going further. We overachieved without Jozy, and honestly, we overachieved without one of our best players in Landon Donovan. He'd have absolutely been an asset, and that's on Jurgen. The good things, though, are a product of him as well. He claims to be building a system, and Sunil believes in that system. He's got young superstar talent wanting to play for us. He got one of the most insane runs in US Soccer history for us. Most of all, he wants us to hold ourselves to a higher standard. I believe that that's what US Soccer needs right now more than anything. If we want to make it to that next level, we have to aspire to it. If he does lose in the Gold Cup and the Confederations Cup playoff, fire up the talk of it. At this point, it's just reactionary bullshite.
Obviously, I know this probably seems like more Klinsmann fanboy shite from me, but to me, this is really just common sense. There is cause for concern, but judging by some takes on it, you'd think the sky was falling. At this point, there need to be changes, but we really have to take a step back.
