Fans compare Jennings to a "garbage can" on Twitter. Threaten to fight him.

This is stupid. Fans need to grow up. None of this is Jenning's fault. By all accounts, Jennings is always doing the things that should be done. ie. film, practice, etc....

Honestly...fans in general suck pretty bad. When it comes to LSU fans, they really are no worse than any other group.
That being said, it matters to me more when LSU fans act like buffoons because it reflects poorly on me by association.
But hey...I'd bet my left nut that many of the same knuckle-draggers writing to Jennings were the ones who cheered LOUDLY when Lee got hurt in 2008 forcing Miles' hand to pull him and play Jefferson, only to then throw Jefferson under the bus in favor of Lee again.
On second thought...your post was pretty spot on. Our fans do suck especially hard.

Threats and intentional hurtful insults...please...respect the humanity in all of us regardless of how poorly the team or individuals played. OK to objectively question and express concern for the obvious...the O was woefully inept against Arkansas, but spewing hateful comments does no one any good.

The trash can thing made me chuckle slightly, but the threats to "fight" and "kill" him are absolutely ridiculous.

People are stupid. Is this Jennings fault... no, he's just not very good. You can't blame the kid he's trying and doing everything asked.
