It would and should be if they go that route.

For some reason I see them taking a more peaceful approach this time. Or maybe a covert extraction rather than just a bloodbath.

I don't think we do really know how many cops they have in the hospital. There could be a good bit of them. Maybe 10 or so of them. Who knows? We only saw a couple of the main players.

I am pretty sure Everybody Hates Chris said there was only 3-4 when he first met Beth

I must have missed that. Just from how things were going in the hospital, it seemed like they had a whole operation and system going on in there.

Yup, but we know they stay on one floor. And its only occupied by 3-4 people at a time (nurse, head bitch, maybe another cop, injured slave). Whatever other cops they have are on patrol or getting supplies. That is basically 2 armed people they have to worry about on the floor, and maybe another 2-3 tops that are on patrol. fricking cakewalk

but I would be pretty darn surprised if the showrunners have Beth and Daryl hookup.

This is the same show that story lines of:

1.A little girl turned Zombie...Sophia
2. A teenage boy almost raped...Carl
3. A little girl killed by her sister...Mika
4. A little girl killed because she killed her sister...Lizzie
5. A man getting his throat slit
6. A mass slaughter in a church, and
7. Women getting raped in a hospital

I don't think having a young woman/older man relationship will bother the showrunner...at all.

ETA: I forgot to mention that thing called cannibalism.

He's using the "thumbs forward" grip. It is used by everyone from LEO, military, and professional shooters. Wrists are supposed to be locked forward, but the recoil of that firearm will still jump your wrists around. Let me guess you are a fan of the O-dog grip from Menace to Society.

My point was he is holding the gun at forehead level and looking over to the side somewhere while shooting.

There's a bullet right by his right shoulder so it's totally plausible that his hands are high from the recoil. Of all the goofy shite to complain about.

Who's complaining?

He regularly holds the gun high and angles it down without looking down the barrel.

They're still in GA right? Anyone else think Rick ends up knowing one of the officers they're about to go up against?

I'm not sure why everyone thinks this will be a slaughter. It probably will, because if the cops win, show over. However, if in a real life situation, I'm not sure I would bet against a group of trained Atlanta police officers in a highly defensible position vs. a group of ragtag "survivors".

While our gang has 2 people on the inside, that also limits their methods of attack. Otherwise, they could just clear a couple of stairwells and let the zombies do their work for them.

The survivors are unified, the cops aren't.

I don't know if I'd call Rick's group just a "group of ragtag survivors". This is a group that is battle hardened, and has survived two full on battle sieges, and has escaped/battled they way out of a fortified town.

I agree that a handful of trained police officers can probable handle themselves pretty well. But Rick's group has the numbers, element of surprise, and are has battle hardened as a group can be. Now if Rick's group was going to do a full on siege and the cops have a chance to prepare for it, then they'd be hard pressed to take out the cops. But if they sneak up on them and surprise them, they should be able to get the upper hand before the cops realize what is going on.

Nothing like a common enemy to bring on a little unity.

ETA: We are also making a pretty big assumption that the cops have been coddled. What have they run into while scavenging? Have other groups tried to take over the hospital? Seems like they have a pretty sweet deal going. If another gang knew about it, perhaps they have had to fight for it before.

We know how battle tested Rick's group is. We don't know much about the hospital group.

That's the biggest advantage they have IMO. Especially since they have Noah who knows his way around and even the schedule of the cops.

Noah may also know some way of letting Beth know what is going down, which would give Rick's crew an additional advantage of an inside person.
