Any chance Rick has worked with or knows Dawn and the other hospital police?

Maybe same atlanta police force?

Rick wasn't from Atlanta. so I doubt it, but I support the idea if Rick lets her slide until Maggie shows up and her and Dawn strip for him.

Did anyone else notice when Carol & Daryl were in the car following the hospital cops, Carol said something about them headed for the Interstate, North on I-85? And then they end up in in Atlanta.

I thought watchers had kind of determined from the map Abraham gave Rick before leaving to head to DC that the church was north of Atlanta. I guess it doesn't really matter, just trying to figure out the geography of the area.

Looks like Glenn is back in some kind of city from the preview. Hope they all reunite and take over Grady.

Yeah. And Glenn was pretty much the master at moving through Atlanta on scavenging/rescue missions. So, I'd love to see him shine in this situation. That is, if "domestic life" with Maggie hasn't slowed him down.

I've read that some people hated this episode. I thought it was fricking solid. Granted, I'm also the type of viewer that appreciates character development and knowing their back stories, so maybe that plays into it. Maybe their weren't many epic zombie kills, but I also think TWD is a true "zombie show"; it's a survival show that happens to take place in a world with zombies. It's a world in which characters are constantly changing with their surroundings and circumstances. If it was nothing but zombie killing non-stop then it would get really boring, really quick.

I don't think this episode belongs in the pantheon of greatest episodes ever, but it was very well done and just solid. Solid.

Absolutely noticed that... but whatever. It's not going to affect how much I enjoy the show.

I really think this was an average episode. Great to get some back story but it was so predictable as a whole. The whole story is starting to be extremely predictable and I'm starting to lose interest like stout.

I liked the episode. To me the "Walking Dead" are the people. What makes Walking Dead different than every other zombie flick is it's not about zombies, it's about how people deal with each other during the ZA.

Yes you will have episodes that are centered around one or two characters. But that is developing the dynamic of those characters. I didn't see it as boring.
The only episodes that dell into that range for me were the Sophia episodes.
I know there are millions of zombies out there, and they are relatively easy to kill and are only a threat in swarms now.
So it is interesting, to me at least, to see the interactions between the people during this event.
I liked where Carol and Daryl are now and you know we are going to have a interesting arc moving forward.

Having read the source material and then watched the show, I can tell you it is far from predictable and you are kidding yourself if you think it is.

If you just want mindless violence, there are movies on netflix for that.
I don't know what will happen next, and neither do you.

I agree. Even when I knew what was going to happen this season, I was on edge. They're out and about and back to being in imminent danger of the walker hoards again.

I thought it was a good episode, much better than the Beth episode, and a little better than the Abe episode.

BTW, it was Daryl who took the treatment book for abused children, not Carol. Thus, the "busted" look on Daryl's face when Carol sees the book.

The flip to let Noah die was purposeful on Daryl's part. He was doing a little "reverse psychology" on Carol. He had no intention of letting Noah die.

Overall, I give this episode 9/10 for character development, 7/10 for action, and an 8/10 overall. The camper and van scenes were interesting.

Best episode in a VERY VERY VERY long time! However, the flashbacks with Carol were unnecessary. They didn't really mean anything toward the story.

It seems like there were 2 different directors between this episode and last week's episode. Too lazy to confirm, but it has to be..

Whats great imo about this season is the swift resolution of most questions.

Yep...even though this one was sorta slow, its still moving along.

Yep...did anyone notice the tank that was in the street? I'm assuming it was the same one Rick jumped in and Glenn said "Hey dumbass!"

Kinda makes you wonder. If you can survive the first yr of the ZA in a big city, you might be best to stay there after the hoards of zombies roam away. Better and safer infastructure for sure.

foreshadowed a fire leading her to prison in the same way a fire led Noah to them.

Showing her inner struggles and thoughts that are stuck with her during this. She finds it hard to be around people with the bad shite she has done (killing humans, innocent and not)

I did, but there has to be a ton of tanks in Atlanta.
What I don't get, was Atlanta bombed before or after Rick was there?

It didn't look as bombed out in season one.

Maybe to the overall storyline but not to Carol's personal story. I think they were trying to show how Carol has gone from being a passive submissive to being almost ruthless. On the other Hand, Daryl has swung from being a guarded façade to a philanthropist. We saw it all play out in this episode.

It was bombed while rick was there iirc in the hospital, soon after day0/when shite hit the fan.

Lori and shane were on the interstate or something trying to evacuate and saw it.

Yeah Atlanta didn't look as fricked up in s1. Idk. Kinda questionable when you analyze it in retrospect. I guess the military avoided hospitals on their air raid

You can say what you want about Rick in past seasons, but this season's Rick isn't screwing around anymore. I guarantee you Rick is going to go wreck some punk arse cops when he finds out that they've kidnapped Beth and ran Carol over.

And if freaking Tyreese pusses out again with Carol's life on the line, they should just put his good for nothing arse out for good.
