Coaches say I make great decisions with the football, just have to … physical aspect of putting it right where it needs to be.
Holy shite. So when JJ said he played well, he really thought he did. Our coaching staff is telling them they are playing great.
WTF.

Q: When you break down games, how many passes do you blame yourself for?
I think my decision-making in all of those passes is pretty good.
wow.

AJ is bad, he cant complete to open receivers. Its like i wish JJ was back because honestly JJ might have been better. and we all know thats saying alot. We need Harris to run away with the QB position in spring and summer if we want a REAL chance to go undefeated and a NC run next year.

If you actually read it he basically admits that he sucks

Good read. Jennings seems like a smart kid, just doesn't quite have the physical talent. Hope Harris figures it out soon.

I would like to ask: "AJ if you are truly a team player and want what is best for the program, when will you step aside to let Harris Develop?"

He has two answers he uses in interviews no matter the question, "oh definitely" and "oh most definitely"

Pulling for the guy. Just think he's in over his head.

It appears to me that AJ is a good kid that is working to improve and has a positive attitude.
It sounds as if he is saying that he just needs to deliver the ball better and hopefully that is something to do with mechanics so he can be more accurate...something that is coachable.
It seems as if BH has more natural talent and just needs to catch up to AJ in the mental aspect of knowing the playbook and being able to read the coverage and call the right audible.
None of us have the right access to deem who gives us the best chance to win so we have to trust the coaches. I usually say ..the coaches know best and leave those decisions to them as they are the most qualified.
There are things like the Welter/Beckwith situations where the switch appeared to be obvious to the fans and it appeared to take way too long for the coaching staff to make what now looks to be the right change.
Hopefully the QB situation is not similar.

I think Jennings is doing as he is told. Quinn had two drops, he missed a wide open Dural, and Dural fell down.
Before anyone thinks I am defending Jennings, I am not. I don't think he is very good. But I do think he puts the team in a position to win...he just doesn't execute we'll at all. I do think some of this is coaching as well.
I also don't think anyone should try to dissect the words of a college soph with too much malice

Pretty much the same old tune from question to question. "Go out on the practice field and get better". However, it is not translating to actual play in the game. What happens if you "keep getting better in practice", but not cutting it in the actual games???
I am sure he is a good kid, but he really is not impressing as an SEC caliber QB compared to others in his class (Soph) that have started at other schools.

That's a very honest interview.

What possesed him not to run on 4th down in OT ,when the closest thing in red was the bama band?
Not saying he is not a good kid, just saying he neither posses the athletic ability, or decision making ability to be a top SEC QB.Not many people are,but he has had a year and Im scared he has hit his high water mark. Time to develope Harris ,he wasnt rated the #3 dual purpose QB for nothing. If a change isnt made a DAM GOOD LSU team will be wasted next year.

Summary: Jennings knows what to do with the ball but his lack of physical talent is preventing him from a better performance.

you cant hate the guy. hes a good guy. a team first guy. he works hard. its just that his lack of arm strength seems to bite him the arse sometimes.

Maybe a receiver falls down. Got to improvise.
You mean instead of just throwing it at the DB?
