Sure the market has already dictated that English be the dominant language, but that's not enough. I've never met a Western European under the age of 40 who did not speak English. Even in my travels in Southeast Asia, people in places like rural Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, and Cambodia were learning English for the sake of their business; to compete. But close to 40% of the world speaking some English isn't enough. We need a government decree to proclaim our white heritage in case, God forbid, our grandchildren think it's okay for their primary language to be a lesser, trashy tongue. Santorum even knows that.
