Some YouTube comments
this video is funny when you first watch it, but when you really think about it, it is extremely sick and twisted-- purposely disappointing your children and then uploading it on the internet, where it will never go away for other people to enjoy. Your kid put on their costume and took pride in getting all that candy and had pride in themselves and things like this strip that away from them. idk man. jokes are supposed to be fun for everyone. Even if "they'll get over it" it says a lot about you as a parent.
This video is just fricking sick. I know that kids can't have everything they want in the world, but to tell them that you ate all their candy that they EARNED by going from house to house for 2 hours is just cruel to say the least. It's like if somebody's been working really hard on building a house for months, then someone close to them (Ex: Best friend) comes along and says, "Oh yeah, that house you've been building? I destroyed it with a wrecking ball in 2 seconds.
All this cruelty for five seconds of YouTube fame. Yeah, it's just a joke for us adults, but those are real tears and real pain the kids feel. Surely there's a more positive way to get a laugh in life, one that the children can participate in.

The best ones are the kids who forgive their parents. Those are going to be some great people one day.

What a bunch of pussies. I'd rather give a little light hearted tease every once in a while than have any child of mine grow up a thin skinned crybaby like them.

I bet you would find a relationship between their responses and some distal outcomes.

A lot of those kids need a good whoopin:
The girl who throws the chair and plates
The boy who says "shut up"
Jesus, I'd have gotten my arse beat six ways to sunday for some of those reactions. Then I'd have gotten told 'we didn't eat the candy, but you are not getting it anyway because of your actions'.

I saw this yesterday. I'd have whooped them with my good belt had they even wandered down the path of acting crazy. Throwing stuff and cussing? Nah, that's a butt whoopin for the ages.
Of course, if my kids are cussing it's probably a reflection of me as a parent so I probably would think of nothing of it.

I did this to my kid years ago for the christmas one. He reacted really well. It was pretty funny, but never made it on Kimmel. It has like 100K views on youtube. I don't know how the shite it has that many but it does.
