What's the deal with Mark Levin, Michael Savage and Sean Hannity?

These dudes hate the ever loving piss out of each other.
Levin on Savage:
Savage on Levin:
Savage on Hannity:
Some of these are older quotes, but they're back at it lately. I listen to Savage (on purpose) and Levin (in my car) and don't get it. They're constantly making snide remarks about each other. Anyone know more about this? How did it all start?
Levin on Savage:
quote:
“You nitwit,” Levin said. “['The Imperial Presidency' is] a book by Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., which many of us read while you were running around with Allen Ginsberg in Fiji and skinny-dipping, or whatever the hell you used to do. Some of us normal people, you know, were reading and writing and doing arithmetic and behaving ourselves. Maybe I’ll do a whole hour on that, moron. Maybe I’ll do a special — a documentary. What do you think of that, Mr. Producer? Little ‘Weiner Nation’: The Manchurian Conservative.”
Savage on Levin:
quote:
There is a former government lawyer…feeding a school yard bully named Hannity, lies– trying to desecrate my family name and great work. So-called conservatives using the smear tactics of the communist left.
Savage on Hannity:
quote:
“My competitor doesn’t have the capacity to go beyond the Democrat-Republican talking points,” Savage told POLITICO. “That’s all he’s ever done. That’s all he can do. He has no education. I’m just going to lay it on the line, I’m not going to mince words.”
“You could say, well, I’m a snob,” Savage said. “Well, ok, I’m proud of my doctorate, two master’s degrees, I’m proud of my 28 books, including many in health. And so, yeah, I’m proud of my academic achievements. I believe it’s embarrassing for people to act as experts, even in politics, if they don’t have a rigorous training in anything.”

A lot of egos involved.
I really think it's that simple.

Savage just started in DC a few months ago and until then I'd never heard him. He is a fricking little creepy weirdo and yeah he has a big hard on for Hannity apparently for his success on Fox
I can't even listen to Levin. He is so shrill

All 3 are morons. Savage makes me laugh, though.

Well its not hard at all to understand why someone would hate Sean Hannity. That guy is not only an idiot, but...nope thats pretty much all he is.

I think Levin and Hannity may be dating.
Savage is the man. I just purchsed "Stop the Coming Civil War" for a friends birthday gift.

I genuinely enjoy Savage. The other two are just awful.

Savage hates everyone except himself. It's hilarious. It's nothing more than fevered egos running amok.

nothing to do with politics, everything to do with the radio business.
Think Howard Stern/Don Imus or Howard Stern/Mad Cow or Howard Stern/O&A
jockeys are super competitive

Savage and Levin ... can be pretty darn funny at times.
But I don't really listen to any of them regularly.

Levin and Hannity are close friends - I believe that Savage and Levin have been feuding for years. Hannity got pulled into it, I believe, because of his friendship/association with Levin.
Levin and Savage are both of Russian Jewish extraction - Savage is from the Bronx, Levin from Philly and Hannity from Long Island. Their chippiness helps ratings and they are in the ratings business.

There isn't a more bitter, angry and sad man in the country.

You'd be 1/2 right
His rants during the ebola scare were nothing short of tin foil classics though. If he wasn't the one who coined "President Ebola", he sure has gotten the most mileage out of it.

Savage gives zero fricks.

Certainly Hannity is no intellectual giant, but he's not an idiot - just an extremely partisan ideologue with whom you vehemently disagree.
Savage and Levin are geniuses though - crazier than hell, especially Savage, but extremely smart. Levin has a doctorate level grasp of Constitutional law and certain areas of history. Don't like him if you so choose, but underestimate his intellect at your peril.
