I think it's pretty obvious why they like LSU.
Yeah, the tailgating and hospitality is special. But the real reason they are fans is that they were able to experience the magic of Saturday night in DV. Now, they're smitten just like the rest of us.

Their broadcasting careers and all of the sporting events they were able to witness weren't able to prepare them for how intense the experience would be. That speaks volumes about the atmosphere.

It's pretty telling that it took SVP 42 years before he ever made a trip to Tiger Stadium; then only 2 more years to come back.

Ryan has been on campus a bunch of times and was pretty instrumental in convincing SVP that LSU was a bucket list venue.

It's one thing to get ranked as a great stadium by ESPN, or Sporting News, or internet websites. But the most flattering compliment... is them wanting to come back and experience it again.
It doesn't make me feel so bad for being hooked myself.
