I stayed the whole time. State and Mullen went full retard to give LSU a chance in that game. They let off the gas in the 4th quarter and put backups in. Yes, we had a shot to win at the end, but the game was dominated by state.

runningTiger, apparently you didn't watch the whole game. The score does not indicate what happened in the game. They backed off because they could've easily scored several more times. Had that pass landed in our hands and we won, while I would've been thrilled, I would've felt bad for a State. The better team won that game.

Once again, the game is 60 minutes. However the "blow out" crowd wants to slice it.
No doubt LSU was dominated for a majority of the game.
No doubt it felt as a blow out.
But we lost by 5 pts. A "blow out" isn't measure by yards, 3 quarters and some change,Or what personnel was in. It's represented in the final score.
If State wanted the "blow out" status they should of been consistent for 60 min.

I know we keep on saying thei scrubs were on the field - but looking at the box score it's not like they had their 2nd QB in, and the distribution of RBs and WRs looks normal.
They may have rotated some guys but they didn't have their full scrub rotation in.
Suck on it negatigers at least you can hold on to the auburn loss

We bent over spread our cheeks and took it dry for 3 1/2 quarters. They abused us at will and laughed about it. We didn't even get a kiss when they were done with us.
Then we said "no mas!" and fought back a little. The scoreboard was not indicative of how thoroughly dominated we were.
If state had of blown that game, double wides all over Miss would have burned and the Klan would have come out of retirement to lynch Mullins. Book it!
Stop living in the past!!!!

It was a convincing loss @ home. This is not a nega/posi issue.

Why are you talking about a game that happened 6 weeks ago?????
Because he's being paid by the post. It's an off week so there's nothing else to talk about.
He's a hired hack that's being paid to litter the board with trash.

So if Harris completes that last pass, does it mean that the win doesn't count?

Not a blow out, still a major league beat down and embarassment.

Bro... They crushed us. Regardless of final score. The only way our comeback would have any merit is if we caught the Hail Mary and won.

I'm just absolutely flabbergasted that you guys still think that game was a blowout. Yes Mississippi State dominated the second and third quarters. Yes Mississippi State one. But in no way shape or form did Mississippi State blow out our tigers. We had the ball down by five in their territorywhen the game ended. Whatever happened before that point was of little significance. All that matter then was if I was you completed that pass or not. I completion equals a win. Either way and no waywas that a blowout.
I think that the Deceptatigers actually want that game to go down into the LSU history books as a blowout because it fits their narrative and their passion against les miles . But the reality is that was one of Les Miles greatest coaching achievements, coming back after getting our tails beat for three quarters and nearly pulling off one of the greatest comebacks in college football history. To call it a blowout is to take away that beautiful come back from the team and for less miles.and I will not stand idle as the deceptatigers attempt to rob us of what is rightfully ours – a close game that could've been one by LSU. This was no blowout

Of course it wasn't. A 5 pt. loss never equates to a blow out and I would feel the same if Miss. St. had been the one coming back from 24 down.
It was 17-10 in the 3rd. Then, St. went on a 17-0 run. LSU responded with their own 19-0 run which started at bout the 13 min. mark. when Hilliard scored.
Were we fortunate to make some big plays late? Sure, but that doesn't mean they don't count.

It wasn't a blowout BC the score was close but we did get our asses kicked.
Agreed. Some things occurred which left the door open and gave LSU a chance for a miracle.
Not a completely different scenario for the LSU OM game. The Tigers left the door open at the beginning when they should have opened up a 10 point lead. LSU dominated both lines of scrimmage in that game but had to hang on to win.

I wondwr if we had held Tennessee off in 2005 if some of you would be giving credit for a blowout.
