I think you are spot on with the top three (and the rest are interchangeable). The only thing I dont agree with is that I feel that Skynyrd is in fact musically superior as well.
WTF?

1. Lynyrd Skynyrd
2. Allman Brothers Band
When I was a kid in the '70s, ABB was the band of the weed smoking, shroom eating country boys. But Skynyrd was the band of the grimy jeans wearing, dirty snap-button shirt, greasy long haired, gas-huffing rednecks...the ones that were liable to put a knife in you if you made them mad. So Skynyrd gets top billing for the danger factor, at least where I grew up.
3. ZZ Top
4. The Outlaws
5. Marshall Tucker Band
6. Charlie Daniels Band
7. Blackfoot
8. Molly Hatchet Band
9. .38 Special
2. Allman Brothers Band

Why do you have to be such a bitter man on every board?
Is it the racism, terrible music or the inability to make any decent looking meals? (I seent the photos on the food board )

Speaking of truck commercials, how has no one mentioned Bob Segar yet. Guy is definitely the GOAT

I don't know who you are. And you have a lot of posts so that must mean you're uninteresting and lame. Anyhoo, I would prefer you not sully my interactions with Burt Brah with your dumbness. Thanks.

FWIW I don't see LSUballs as bitter.

Anyone who saw Lynyrd Skynyrd before the plane crash would not criticize their musicianship. They were an incredible live act. Were they as good as the Allman Brothers Band? Maybe not, but they were much more popular than the Allman Brothers Band for a reason. They wrote more accessible songs. Which band has riffs that are instantly recognizable?

Apparently my disagreeing with Burt shitting on the Charlie Daniels band makes me a bitter bad cook with poor taste in music.

I like this phrase a lot.
Sometimes you might want to listen to 2112 and sometimes something that just feels good.

I do too. It tips me off that whatever is being referenced is probably not very good.

Yikes Burt's bitch, you take this internet business pretty serious. I don't see how I missed all of your riveting posts all this time.
Who exactly is the music board, you and Burt? If so I like my chances of not getting owned.
