Great job!

800 calories per day is about the same as the initial phase of the Ideal Protein diet. Hmmm.....there is something to that. Any answers, Wink?

Congrats!

Question about being diabetic and then being non-diabetic....

I recently did some fasting blood work and my hemoglobin A1c blood sugar came back at 6.2, which my doctor said was in the pre-diabetic range. I'm 5'11" and weighed in at 189 lbs this morning, so I'm not obese. I was under the impression that once you are diabetic, it is permanent after a certain "point of no return" if you will. How deep into the diabetic range did your numbers get, that you were still able to turn the trend around and get back into the non-diabetic range?

What a great post.

So many people make so many excuses as to why they can't get healthy and you've not only overcome the most popular of those excuses but most likely have added many happy years to your life.

Congrats to you man
