I actually don't give candy anymore...
I've actually done something that the neighbors loved the last few years, I grill hotdogs/burgers for the neighborhood kids since I know they tend to skip dinner to go trick or treating. The following year, a neighbor added on and bought bags of chips and bottles of water and the parents sat in my driveway as their kids walk around with their friends. Turned it into a small block party, the 20 or so parents that know me give me $20/ea to go get the stuff. $400 worth of food, propane, etc for 200 or so kids that trick or treat yearly in the neighborhood is pretty cheap and they tell me to pocket the extra amount I didn't spend for myself.
The parents got anal and stopped it midway last year though since kids and parents from outside of the community were able to sneak in and stole packs of hamburgers/hotdogs.
But the best halloween candy is snickers man.

According to the commercial, kids won't believe it's not real bacon

Seems like kids always choose peanut butter cups first, then Krackel or Snickers.
Take 5s are ridonkulous IMO.![](https://i.imgur.com/GJNX1U4.gif)

I have a costume bucket and a non-costume bucket. If you are 15 and have no costume you get peanut butter orange and black. If your baby is at home sick and you are toting around his/her fricking pumpkin, you get peanut butter black/orange. Everybody else gets good shite.
And something that actually happened:
If you don't knock, and just walk the frick inside my house, you get black/orange

Got a bogo deal on two bags of mixed butterfinger, baby ruth, nestles crunch and nestles chocolate minis. Plus got a bag of Swedish fish and sour patch kids in little packs. I'll be handing that out on Halloween, if I don't eat it all first.
