Here is just one example of why ppl watch Fox over MSNBC or CNN. During the height of the Russia, Ukraine, Crimea shite show, Fox covered ukraine, domestic shite, and the missing plane. CNN 100% missing plane 24/7 and MSNBC well I can't remember but it was bad.

Good god man. MSNBC is garbage. Im suggesting that people who watch either channel are not looking for news but reassurances regarding their world view. But, it just so happens that liberals dont really watch much NBC while almost half of conservative watch Fox.
I'm willing to bet that the average liberal gets their "News" from MTV, E, BET, or Comedy Central.
So what you're saying is Conservatives are more informed than their progressive counterparts.

MSNBC at 0 and Fox at 100 I think most other news channels would be hovering between 45 and 55 visually
What news outlet would you say is the 55? I don't know of a single major news outlet besides Fox that I would put over 50, and it would be hard pressed to put one over 45 I would argue they are between 35-45 at best.
You say you aren't arguing they are moderate, but ten rank them right in the middle.

ABC News sits at 45
Oh my.
quote:
That is unless you want to argue that MSNBC is at 0 and major cable networks are at 10/15.....in which case you're likely a partisan hack
You know what they say about those who make assumptions.

Ill refer you to the Pew poll upon which the OP article is based. But hey, facts are boring in news......AND political forums! Just throw out some more opinion based stereotypes and we'll get this thing rolling Poli board style. AMURICA!

Me
You
Im not sure what's not to get. I am arguing that in a political spectrum defined by the extremes set by MSNBC and Fox that yes, major cable news, NPR, etc are moderate.

I am arguing that, compared to either MSNBC and Fox, all those channels are extremely moderate just by the sheer nature of their distance from the extreme boundaries set by those two channels

So less than half of all conservatives use FOX as their news source and you people are still obsessed with it

Well, besides the fact that arguing that if something is more moderate than some extreme, doesn't make it moderate, ranking them in the dead center as a moderate news outlet would lead one to believe you are arguing that they are moderate. You know, equal distance from the right and left extremes.
You're right though, don't know how I could have gotten confused that you were arguing that those stations aren't moderate

How do you have time to post so much, what, with all the xenophobic ranting, science hating, tin-foil conspiracy spewing, faux-outrage, and inbreeding you Appalachian abomination?

Don't conservatives have less choices to chose from?
If so, wouldn't that skew these numbers in a study like this?
I'm new to all this, but in my short time following things.
The amount of News options seems less for Conservatives compared to Liberals.
Am I wrong here while noticing this?

You keep referring to me as a conservative as if you know what you're talking about.
A TRUE unbiased person can defend both sides of an argument. Which I've done.
Biased persons, such as yourself, continually bash one side of the argument while defending their own without regard to facts. Which you've done.
