They're already in the top 25 in the coaches poll.

I disagree, i think this year perfectly illustrates the need for that one extra high profile game that a team like Baylor desperately needs this year. If it comes down to Baylor and lets say MSU or OSU vs a 1 loss Nebraska team in the B1G title game for that final 4th spot in the Playoffs, the winner of the B1G championship gets in over Baylor IMO. The Big12 needs the game more this year than ever!
Meh, I disagree but of course I would.
A 1 loss Baylor team will have wins over the following ranked teams TCU, OU, and Kansas State with a loss to WVU.
A 1 loss Ohio State will have ranked wins over Michigan State and maybe a win over the Big 10 champion. Ohio State had a loss to Virginia Tech.
So Baylor has a "better loss" and more ranked wins in a more difficult league, I think Baylor gets in over Ohio State.
Now for Michigan State, it would be much closer. Michigan State has the "better" loss, a 21 point loss to Oregon. However, Michigan State would have ranked wins over Ohio State, Nebraska, and a win in the Big 10 championship. I tend to think Michigan State would get in the over Baylor but it would be close.

If Baylor is left out they have no one to blame but themselves for their OOC schedule, not because of a lack of CCG.
Exactly this.

Also, say Kansas State wins that game.
And Auburn wins out, but State goes on to win the championship game.
There is one spot left, and it can go to either Kansas State or Auburn, who do you think they will pick?
Well, both teams would only have one loss, but difference is, Kansas State's one loss came to Auburn.
If Kansas State and Baylor met in a championship game, at least Kansas State if they won would be able to say we won 1 more game than Auburn did.

Big 12 needs to go to east and to 14.
Arkansas State
UCF (Or Southern Florida)
East Carolina
Georgia Southern
Troy (Or UAB)
Tulane (or ULL)
no.
If they did go east to become the Big14 (according to wikipedia they own the trademark), they would add.
Memphis
Cincy
UCF
ECU
Big14 North:
WVU
Cincy
Memphis
ISU
KU
KSU
ECU
Big12 South:
OU
Tejas
TTU
TCU
Baylor
UCF
OSU

Baylor plays Kansas State that weekend who is currently ranked #11 and 5-1... that's almost the same thing as a CCG and it might be for the conference championship if both teams win up to it
Kansas St is going into that game with 3 losses. I think they lose @TCU and @WVU...so that game for Baylor wont be bigger then a conference championship game.

Still a lot of football left, but I think tOSU's bed-shitting against Va. Tech will not be forgotten by the committee.

I don't know if they could split it up north and south again. The South would be loaded.

Ohio St would have also beaten Michigan St, Nebraska and a ranked Minnesota squad. Plus, the committe said it takes injuries into consideration, considering we lost Braxton Miller at the time, they could take that into consideration.

I completely forgot about Memphis.
Cincy IMO wouldn't be a good add to the conference, but that is just me.
Tulane has the Nola market, GA southern almost upset GT and NC State and lost in the finals seconds in their first year up, but thats just my personal opinion.
Cincy does add a better tv market, but recruiting is so much better in GA and LA.
That north division is shite though.
KSU would rule it, and the conference game would be shite every year.

Not sure what you're talking about. TCU is in great shape to get in even with one loss.
Still have to deal with K State and the Horns......I know Texas isn't great but they could be a spoiler. And K State and Baylor are still in the mix if they win out.

Tulane just built a 30K stadium and has horrible supporting facilities. I wish Tulane would get to P5 level, but I don't see it happening. The Big 12 already has enough private schools.
Georgia Southern just moved up to FBS and isn't in a media market.

Ohio is pretty darn good recruiting state.

It is but I didn't want to take the time to split it up any other way.

This has to be a joke. The Big 12 doesn't need TV markets as they don't have a conference network. They need TV ratings these teams do nothing but hurt that.

Yes, they have pretty good recruiting, but nothing like Georgia or Louisiana has to offer. And Louisiana would be great for UT, since they still are in charge of the conference anyways.
I'm not saying that it isn't the most likely decision to add Cincy, because it is. My personal opinion is just different. Yes, Cincy right now is the best decision. But in 10, maybe even 5 years, the teams they could have gotten will end up being much better options.

It also keeps the Big 12 best teams at 12 games, along with everyone else
It also keeps Notre Dame at 12 games, should be interesting to see that play out.
If they don't penalize ND for playing 12 games, how can they penalize the Big 12 champ?

I personally think they should, but ND will always get the pass, regardless if it is fair or not.

To be fair, Minnesota is probably on the same level as Iowa State. Let's not forget that the Cyclones beat Iowa on the road and Iowa and Minnesota are prolly about the same caliber of team.

I think you should worry about the Big Ten

The scenario im pointing out is if Baylor is the one loss team representing the Big 12, if that happens, the Big 12 is fricked, not the B1G. They talked about this for an hour last night. This is a very real possibility for the Big 12.
Baylor will get left out because of a terrible non conference schedule, not because the Big 12 wasn't strong enough and didn't have a title game
