In all the bullshite we always post, might as well give props to a guy who's fought injuries, represented his home state, and played his arse off/best ball his senior year..
Was all over the place against UK... to Rasco

both are great guys. i hope rasco and hunter excel in the nfl. i think both will be converted into OLBs.. since they are pretty light (240lbs).. unless they hit the nfl weight program and develop!

If this was a sack thread this shitty post might be acceptable..
But it's simply a thread celebrating a senior making plays for a defense that desperately needs it..
Rasco

Rasco hustles on every play and I have a lot of respect for players like him. I think he has a solid chance in the NFL because of his work ethic and talent. He's been getting better every week since his long overdue surgery.

LSU DEs do not have the sack totals but they are solid players. They are looking better as the DTs are playing improved ball...I don't think it is coincidental.

He's a special Tiger. He's the only one we got to see his recruitment. That Channel 3 Rick Rowe piece on his recruitment was the best thing I ever saw on how recruitment actually looks in a kids moms living room. Got to see all the coaches that were chasing him, other than Saban since he had to see him at Alabama and they wouldn't let the camera in. But Mack Brown, Petrino, Muschamp, and Miles... got to see their game face and you got to see why Les is so damn effective at recruiting. I'm really happy for him and I hope he gets the NFL career he has always hoped for.

I like Rasco. I met him once and shook his hand, he's a cool kid. Damn near crushed my hand and I know it wasn't full strength.
He's done very well.
I sure like our DE's. Him + Hunter= watch out.

Lester if you can't see that Hunter is playing great this year, you just don't know shite. And based on your previous post history you just don't know shite.

He's had 1 good game . He was non existent in the first 3-4 games. Neither are getting to the QB at all

I heard Alan Risher express similar bullshite in a radio interview. I assume your "1 good game" comment is referring to the Kentucky game.
Since you somehow seem to be missing Hunter's impact, here are some numbers for you:
Against Mississippi State, Hunter had 6 tackles, a sack, and a fumble recovery for a TD.
Against Auburn, he had 12 tackles. The last time a LSU defensive lineman had that many tackles in a game -- 18 years ago -- Chuck Wiley had 12 vs. Tulane in 1996.
Hunter is #1 in the SEC in tackles among defensive linemen with 46. He is #1 on the team and #4 in the SEC in TFLs with 8.
He also had a sack-fumble in the 2nd game that he wasn't credited for.
Also, the low sack numbers for LSU DEs this year can be partly attributed to the low amount of pass attempts. Among SEC teams, opponents are attempting the fewest amount of passes per game vs. LSU. Opponents are also completing the least amount per game and for the lowest percentage (50.7%).
LSU is #1 in the SEC, and #4 in the NCAA in Passing Yards Allowed Per Game at 156.3.
