We had a 7-1 SEC record, a Heisman trophy candidate at quarterback and one of the best teams we had ever had in 2003. But NOOOOO. You guys just HAD to have your best team ever THAT season. You couldn't just wait one more year or do it the year before. It HAD to be in 2003.

They had the same record as the west champs (LSU), which they lost too.

We "tied" with y'all for first in the west and the SEC actually sent us a trophy for "winning" the west. Most Ole Miss fans want it taken down.
