I've been watching a lot of In Living Color on FXX. Does this show outrank SNL during the 90s?

The first few years were equal to what SNL was doing at the time and that's back when SNL was still good. It dropped off pretty hard after that though.

No but the talent on ILC and SNL during the 90s was awesome. Probably the high point for sketch comedy.

SNL was awesome in the 90s except for like 2 transition years. ILC was great at the time but it hasn't aged well.

ILC has stuff equally as funny as the best of SNL. But the depth just isn't there. Not enough in the catalog to say it was better though.

I think during that time In Living Color reached a broader audience. I was a kid then and I only really watched ILC. Damon Wayans, Tommy Davidson, David Alan Grier, and Jim Carrey were all great on that show.
