Yeah, the players needed to take it into their own hands.

Like that 3rd and 9, we should have run a screen or something to try for the first. Oh wait we did, and they mugged our running back with no flag called. Flag thrown, first down inside the 15, we have a chance at a TD to go up 3 scores. Those damn players shouldn't have gotten their heads ripped off illegally!

But even still, our defense just needed to make a stop. Like on 4th and 5, just defend the pass and you win! Oh wait, we fricking did, and a flag flies to give them 4 more plays.

As many stupid plays as we made or didn't make, we did plenty enough to win if we aren't completely fricked by the officials. But keep your head in the sand.

I like people that pretend to be more credible by calling out others who are merely pointing out that the refs fricked us over. It happened. Watch closer.

Why would they not call contact before the catch?

I blame Corey White for setting up Brees in an uncomfortable position.

White and Brees fricked up today.

Since you're obviously a former NFL official what was your opinion of the blindside block that was called a personal foul on Lelito?

Refs didn't help but we choked this away.

Only a simpleton blames officiating after a loss.

Then again, the fanbase on this board is pretty pathetic.

You're out of your fricking mind if you don't think the refs bailed their asses out. That defense lets some plays up but if not for that godawful call on 4th down, we're at .500 right now. Seriously, gtfo of here with this, "We can't blame the refs" bullshite

Only a simpleton acts like the refs didn't affect the outcome there.

These definitely hurt us

So did the refs

Bush wouldn't have caught it anyway. That's what I'm more angry about. It could've gone either way.

What is your opinion of the personal foul called on Glover Quin for tackling a player?

We can certainly go back-and-forth if you want.

officiating is a problem in the NFL, if today's games doesn't tell you that, what about Thursday game were the official actually moved a player on the final kick so that he wouldn't be lined up incorrectly.

Officiating sucks and they get away with because fans try to act like bad officiating doesn't change the outcome of games. Unfortunately it will only be fixed if some kind of way it comes out that there is an planned effort to control game outcomes or point spreads.

It was a bang bang play. Should not have been called. Defenses get away with much worse on a regular basis.

Exhibit A would be our last 4th down attempt.
